Because the franchise had more than enough titles. There wasn't a loose end or anything else like with Shenmue for example. It even had a spinoff to a damn cart game. I rather have the devs being creative and come up with something new and original like Pupeteer than seeing those resources used for yet another Crash. The original devs and their vision moved on, so should some players.
I don't think you understood what I said. I said why do we have be so hostile towards another? Cant we just all respectfully wish a new installment on franchises that we cherish?
I've seen this kind of crap happen on other threads with different fans of different franchises.
Shenmue fans wanted another game because of a cliffhanger ending. Crash fans just want at least ONE proper game that carries the soul of the original and done in a way that will standards of today in gaming. Because man oh man, Radical really fucked him up.
Crash or no crash, I just want to see a renaissance of well made 3D platformers whether it's an old or new IP. And I'm sure most Crash fans can vouch for me here.
