She looks excellent. A bit of cartoon mischief about her. Street Fighter V's changes to wakeup should mean she relies less on the dry routine of her SFIV vortex style too, which is a very good thing.
I'll definitely be giving her a try. I hope the daytime Kanzuki Estate stage comes alongside too.

I like her. Looks really fun to play. Can't wait to use her.
Which makes no god damn sense, since Balrog is actually relevant to the story and Ibuki isn't. Why Capcom, WHY?

she looks pretty fun to play with... taking a look at her moves it looks like they gave her pretty good zoning abilities with her kunai... but i can imagine that she doesn't have a large damage output considering how she can pin down her opponents with a mix of zoning and her target combo rush downs.

Ibuki's a Jounin level ninja. She's dope but Naruto's got so many Rasengans he'd send that girl straight to Sakura for healing.
Ibuki's the one to make a difference tho. All that Naruto shit will take her far. Get getting for the Naruto/Dattebayo/Rasengan comments during tourneys!

Huh, interesting. If she's fast, has good normals and some target combos for newbie friendly damage... I might have to try her. I mean, as long as the Zenny Store isn't up, why not at least give her a go?

SFIII happened before Naruto... months before and the she used the same "rasemgan" in SFIII.
I'm pretty sure SFIII with Ibuki debut happened in February 1997.
Naruto wasn't a thing even in Japan.
My bad Ibuki was in 2nd impact. 1997. Still the same year.

That was SF3,4 ibuki. We are talking about SFV Ibuki . Charcters change and this CA and theme look ridiculously Naruto ish

Looks like they made neckbreaker her super... wonder if it goes under fireballs since her regular neckbreaker in SF4 did not. I would assume it does since it's a super that uses meter.

I'm thinking her V-Skill is pulling out five kunai. It'll boost her kunai moves to launch five at a time, instead of just one.

Was Ibuki popular anywhere ever though? I don't think Naruto blew up at the time here, but who knows if she had some inspiration on him because of its popularity in Japan.
The thing is, this incarnation of Ibuki, her CA animation more specifically, is clearly inspired by Naruto.
She always had the energy ball special, but just look the way it's being used now.
