Yes, but from what I understand you can't do the main story quests only the side stuff and the contracts.

So what do I need to do to get the expansion installed? I have the Season Pass but my TW3 main menu still says "Coming May 31" for Blood & Wine.

Nevermind. I get so confused by the X1 patch requirements. Sometimes games patch automatically, some require you to launch them to get patched, and in this case, I had to go into the "Manage Game" menu and manually select Blood and Wine to be installed.
So...installing now!

Biggest downside of new UI is to break apart a material, you have to scroll through so much shit and each time I scroll on ps4 the console stutters. So it made it a chore to get beast mats for the grandmaster armor

I did the Blood and Wine only option so it's the Kaer Morhen armor I'm pretty sure.
Not sure what just happened,got to a question mark,a few drunks there but nothing was happening then I have to fight one guy,barefisted,then another joined,I died,woke up saying one hour later...fill something quest lol...oh well,whatever.
And those plants,man who thought those where a good idea with this kind of combat lol...

Hope you didn't play on too far. I'm going back 4 hours and I'll just let the quest sit before that point.
I sent in a save file to CDPR support, so hopefully it goes in the eventual patch/hotfix.

It's really kind of amazing this game gets all the love from the mainstream and from people who mostly have never touched the books. The expansion so far is hitting book material hard.
Toussaint being largely from the books, meeting Anna Henrietta and having her talk about the incident with Dandelion from the book, the crest choices Geralt has for his heraldry, and mother-fucking Regis.

So last night I got back to Witcher 3 after just barely starting it back in September. For some reason my horse was all fucked up. The hair and saddle and eyes were there, but the body model was stretched out triangle glitched, but other horses in the game were fine. I tried different AMD and in-game settings and nothing fixed it. I came to realize/remember that hard drive was failing so hopefully that was it, installing to a different hard drive now.
However, I also did try a few mods to make life easier. Adjustable weight limit, indestructible weapons, wealthy shops, and animals always drop items. All but the shops one gave errors so the game wouldn't load, so I removed the mod folder. I wonder if one of those fucked up the horse somehow. Have these mods just not caught up with the new patch? Anyone using them right now?

I love this game and CD Projekt are a pretty fine dev but GoG Galaxy is awful, really bad. Significantly worse than Origin, Uplay, Steam etc. I downloaded the DLC this morning. Went to play the game and no DLC. I'm now re-downloading. Luckily I have unlimited internet but how these things fuck up is beyond me.
the patch came out yesterday. I'm pretty sure most mods don't work for 1.2 yet.
I'm just waiting here for debug mode. Too lazy to find all the receipts for the School gear.
Yea the way Galaxy handles downloading updates is kind of silly. I have it set to auto-update and I still had to go in and manually check B&W dlc to download/install. Apparently, if you do the verify method, it will only download PART of B&W and then you still need another ~9 gigs or so...eeeeesh. Shouldn't be this hard GoG.

Okay, so I started Blood and Wine and went to the Village were you meet
Now I am lv 30 and the red skull is gone from the quest, but the door to the house they are in now is locked.
the two Knights, but due to being underlevelled for the fight against the bandits i reloaded the safe before closing in to talk to the knights to level up a bit.

Just finished the warble of a smitten knight quest, and i was curious if anyone got a different ending.
while a good ending, i was wondering if there were different endings if you
vivienne got her curse cured, but looks to only have seven years left of her life. She also got mad at guillaume and sent him away rather than getting his help.

So I've re-downloaded it. Why is it saying Coming 31st May on the Main Menu? I know I got it because it's showing in my Account as being bought. When I choose a game it's either a new game, new game+ or Hearts of Stone. What the hell. And I have the newest patch.
So I have to verify to get the rest of the DLC? Dumb motherfuckers.

Lvl 40, cat school and feline armor. I rarely spec defense, just run full offense with quen as safety net. I destroyed the

On GoG? Make sure you have it checked under DLC in the settings (should show 3 DLC installed, assuming you have the freebie).
I had to verify to get the patch and then I had to check the DLC for B&W to get that to download. Really assbackwards.

I got the same result. I was wondering if i should have
investigated the pond beforehand though, felt like Geralt was trying to clue me into it. Also the bird constantly spying on the group makes me think there was more to it than i figured out.
Damn... and there's no way to refund the game either. I only bought it on the PS4 for my brother. How do people even play like this? lol.
That fight (like almost all fights against single opponents) is kinda trivial with a strong Quen but it definitely took me longer than that on a way lower difficulty (normal). You must have an extremely well optimized build, although I don't know how I could enhance my build even further since I already have pretty much all the enhancements in terms of attack power you can have I think.

Thanks. I actually remember now having to tick the box for Hearts of Stone. Must have forgotten about that. But why require ticking the box? I mean every other game I've played that has DLC automatically installs them and they're done. They really need to learn how to streamline and simplify their shopfront/installer.
I might consider it, mostly just to have the "look" of a true Witcher (fuck all that random junk armor you had to wear during the majority of a normal playthrough). But yea, aside from that, I don't see much point (achievements/difficulty being the exception).
