The Witcher III: Blood & Wine |OT| One last contract, one last plough

I'm in ng+ and still using original mastercrafted witcher set gear.
Do I need to start finding and building new ng+ witcher set pieces from scratch to make ng+ grandmaster set or can I use the mastercrafted pieces I have from the first playthrough towards them?

Also, anyone else finding signs kinda useless at level 65 in blood and wine? My swords combined with some decoctions do much more dmg.

Getting kind of weird graphical issues, invisible but clothed horses and people, stretched bouncing textures etc (PC, 970).

Disappointing I must say, it detracts from how good the game looks otherwise.
And that Most Wanted dlc quest is still glitched for me, many months later. The werewolf just sinks into the ground after I wipe out his health.

dammit I want to play this game but im going to have to put a pin on it until they fix the controls on PS4!

After I installed the latest patch I have had this recurring issue were the camera slides up or down. A little tap up and the camera slides all the way up, or the same for down, also it slides up when running on roach.. its very annoying and making general play difficult.. but even worse for some reason I cannot lock onto enemies at all, making combat quite the chore along with the sliding camera...

I really hope there are more people with this issue so CDPR can be aware of it and fix it.

Damn, shit is expensive. 3 pieces of mastercrafted armor wiped out my starting 14k, even when I mined my dismantle list for mats.

Then i got to my vineyard and the dude tried to shake me down for another 7k.

Verify game cache in Steam library or Verify/Repair in GOG Galaxy - it sounds like a corrupted download problem.

Guys, I'm afraid to start this up...
I'm afraid because this is the last journey with Geralt, and this incredible world. I just don't want it to end, like when you watch and awesome movie, or read a great book, or just spend your time with your friends on your holiday, and eerything is so great, and you're having the time of your life, and you really just wish that the moment would never end!
That's how much I don't want the Witcher to end!

Encountered a weird bug where the Viper armour suddenly becomes bright orange when putting it on display at the vineyard, and I don't have any dyes applied. Shame they don't give you enough weapon racks to put all your Witcher gear swords on the wall.

Had to go back to Velen to try and find some of the components for the Manticore set, but I've got it now. I'll properly dig into the actual quests and not just treasure hunts tomorrow now, I've been playing this for about 14 hours and accomplished very little.

My mind was blown by the UI improvements alone. The cherry on top however was the option to disable fish eye for Witcher senses and my sudden discovery of the alternative movement method. So glad I was still at the beginning of the this game. So much content to go through.

Main story quest spoilers
I get 1 shot by
the rotfiends and scurvers during Regis's Bloodlust ritual thing. Their normal attacks, not explodey attacks.

Also to person asking about white dye, I have the recipe but no idea where I picked it up.

Encountered this crazy stalker lady screaming "Bravo, sir brave knight. Bravo!" while clapping follow Geralt on a horse to wherever they was going...lol. I'm talking halfway across the map.

Thought I lost her, but sure enough I see her hauling ass through the nettles and down some hills to catch up with Geralt and Roach again. I almost pissed myself from laughing. Fast travel got rid of her. I kinda miss her now...lol.

I hope that's scripted and not a glitch LOL

Fuckin A this game is gorgeous, even with most things only on Medium since I have an R9 270X. Using AMD-override tessellation at 8x is fine for me; hairworks actually looks a bit too soft and floaty compared to the rest of the graphics. The reinstall on different HD fixed my horse. This game got way less casual than Witcher 2 tho with the durability and no "looting" in view of guards in town. Once the mods catch up with the patch I'm gonna turn this into the kind of easygoing adventure I most enjoy.

Only thing I'm a bit confused about is when I move the textures setting between medium and ultra I don't see a difference. Is that mostly for cutscenes or something?

Think I'm going to be LTTP and try a critical build with the new moon armour I just hunted down. Seems like it could help on DM. All action no sign management.

Sad at moving away from witcher armour but hey... Apparently new moon is even better than cat armour once you enchant it to act as light armour.

I swear the god I finally fucking lost it. Already clocked over 400 hours and now I am playing Witcher 3, while listening Vinny from Giantbomb playing the game while reading the books when there is a loading screen.

On PS4 - collected the last few Gwent cards I was missing according to the new in game book. It congratulates me but the trophy doesn't unlock. Is this a known bug and is there anything I can do to still get that trophy?

I hope that's scripted and not a glitch LOL

Must have been a glitch. I went back to the Lebioda's Gate to see if I could her get to appear again. No luck. Guess she took the hint when I fast traveled to get a way from her...lol

Pretty sure it happened it in the cemetery during the 'Turn and face the strange' quest because she followed me to a lake where a temple was. I also completed the 'Smitten Knight' quest beforehand while wearing rewards earned from that quest.

Hopefully others encounter her. It's pretty hilarious

It's seriously probably 1 of the cheapest things I've ever experienced in a game lol. Right when I spawn I try to back step as quick as I can or the spear guy hits me once and knocks me down to 10% hp, then immediately I get hit by 1 of the
mages
and I'm dead. I keep having to wait like 2-3mins per load because I get combo'd to death before any inputs even get to Geralt.

Spam CC nades, that's what got me through it.

After beating HoS today (which was awesome and filled with great characters and writing) I tied up some loose ends, upgraded all of my witcher sets to mastercrafted and sold a bunch of stuff in preparation for B&W. I start out with a bit over 60k crowns, and also a good amount of sellable stuff.

Played it for about an hour and a half or so. It looks gorgeous. Everything is so colorful and the way people behave is in stark contrast with the poor dudes at Velen or Novigrad. Do I get access to my stash from here?

How's everyone playing the game? Mouse/keyboard or controller?

I feel like my movement is much faster with the former.

Played B&W for 4-5 hours yesterday. Did enough of the main story to get to Toussaint and right after getting there I just went my own way.

Did about 1/3 (1/4?) of points of interest in the area and a whole bunch of sidequests.
The
stolen balls
quest and the
bureaucratic bank hell
quest were hilarious, loved them.

Today I'll probably keep doing everything aside from the main story, because I'm saving that for last. By the way, does anyone know if you come across a "monster stomach" (iirc) in a natural way? Need that thing to make my great master wolf chest armor.

I same around on the skell deck finally.

Nothing beats the OP spy game of nilf or north, but that fucking Phoenix card should.up every damn match, and planning what's in your graveyard for when you win so stuff comes back is decent.

To win though, pretty sure you have to throw away every first round it feels like.

Played a couple hours so far, really enjoying it. It feels like it's been a long time since I've spent extra time reading books and bestiary entries, since HoS didn't do much new stuff there. I'm also looting more too, I found a dye schematic and full dies in regular sacks.

So yeah....it's probably gonna take me a while to get through this.

Well, it's official - my lock-on system decided that it had enough of Witcher 3's combat and left for parts unknown. Hasn't worked for hours, resetting didn't help (after a crash that happened when the health bar joined the lock-on's cause and refused to pop-up).
On a brighter note, this malfunction finally motivated me to drop the difficulty, so at least I won't go insane from having to deal with all those horde fights in cramped spaces. I'm running into so many enemies who outlevel me, it sort of balances out anyway. It's nice being able to explore freely without worrying too much about numbers.

So how bad does it run on Xbox one? Skimmed thread didn't see anything but could have missed it.

Having the same problem here (PS4) along with an equally annoying loss of proper camera control.

Does anybody know where the stash is? I must have missed it somewhere.
