Mirror's Edge Catalyst EA Access Trial Now Live

Forgot this was coming. I am hesitant on the game and have an E3 preorder so this will be a good way to test it.
 
So weird. I was literally just looking, saw it would be out tomorrow despite thinking it was today, come on gaf and boom.

Set it to download now.
 
When the game is out the trial is gonna be available to everyone right? Not sure how this works out for other EA games, but most of the company's big games now have trails publicly available on Origin.
 
Don't think I'll try it out. Will just get it on the PS4 since the beta was awesome. Don't want to have to do the opening few hours for a third time next week if I try this now.

Usually the EA Access trials are for subscribers only. Iirc there are a few exceptions. PvZ: GW 2 for example.
 
I already have it preordered on Origin but am tempted to play the trial. I feel like it might ruin it when I have to wait and then replay 6 hours a week later.
 
Can't install here in the UK on XB1.

Edit: Nevermind works directly from the store, EA Access app won't allow you to download.
 
Shame you can setup EA access downloads remotely like you can with store purchases, wouldn't mind trying this out tonight.

I went on xbox.com and initiated the download. At least I think I did. It shows the trial is available and lets me select it to download.
 
A 6 hour trial instead of a 10, must mean the game is a bit longer than 6 hours but still under 10 if you were doing just the main story.
 
Can't wait to play this, only problem is that I'll get 6 hours into it by Friday night and then have to wait until Tuesday evening to continue.

Or it's slightly more but they don't want to let people play it at lower difficulties and skipping cutscenes to the end.

Btw downloading this once I get home but won't play it until I'm done with Doom. Atleast I won't have to install/patch once I get the disc at d1.
 
Man its IQ is horrific. Didn't play much Battlefront but its like Battlefield: Hardline.
 
I'm curious if this is just the closed beta or if it actually has more content than that.

If it's the latter then maybe I'll get Origin Access.
