Well on the bright side, he had the best fight in the entire tournament. While Vegeta had the most, majority of his fights were awful except for the one where he got his ass beat by Hit. So Piccolo stays winning.

Watching the DBZ Kai Cell Saga, it's nice to see the other characters fight, like Krillin vs Cell at the airport. Krillin was holding his own for a bit, which was a nice change of pace.

Not gonna lie, the first time he shows up to fight for real I'm having Ultimate Gohan music in my head from the Funi dub playing

Although I still think SSJ2 Kid Gohan was his peak not only in terms of awesomeness but character... Elder Unlock Gohan still has not only Gohan's best line but one of the best in the entire series.

What I really want is for the dynamic to be swapped. Vegeta realizes that trunks is lame and the son he always wanted was future trunks. So vegeta just keeps bothering him trying to hangout again and train like they did in the hyperbolic time chamber and future trunks is like "naw that's ok"

At the end of the arc, they should have Trunks and Goten wear their Might Mask costume for some gag reason with Trunks' face exposed, and then Bulma sends them into the future after mistaking them for Future Trunks.

Buu is still in an egg on Earth in the Future timeline. It's in Trunks best interest to exterminate that creature before shit hits the fan. If Trunks got a power up, than Babidi has at least attempted to to revive Buu. I'm sure AT will have him explain what he's been up to from Cell-Goku Black.

It's Goku Black, not Black Goku, so I don't think it's the "real" Goku in any way.

I hope this Black Goku guy isn't the main villain of the next saga. Like, I hope there's someone behind him that's the cause of everything. I need my arcs to be more than just "here's a bad guy, come and kill him" type of thing. The DBZ sagas had so many layers to them.

Goku Black will be an alternate universe Goku that won the Universe tournament and got the God Box to transport between universes. Being evil, he decided to challenge the strongest warriors of each universe and kill everyone else if he wins (which he has so far). Trunks was the only one left after everyone got slaughtered by Goku Black. So he comes back from the future to tell everyone that soon he will arrive and proceed to tear through everyone including Beerus (who freaks out, and starts to doubt Goku of this universe, wondering if he would ever turn on him like that).
