Man, what a lifeless trailer. There are much better ways to convey all of that imo- why are the cover legendaries just being shown in battle like that? You'd think it would be more interesting to see them in game yourself rather than spoiling the surprise.

Don't forget Victini, though it's another mythical. Psychic mythicals are really inflating the overall count.

I still wish they had gone with something better for Solgaleo. It's baffling that the freaking Sun Lion is not part Fire. Lunala's type is fine with me.

Yup, it snows on Mauna Kea (13.7k feet high ) and Mauan Loa(13.6k ft high) on the Big Island and Haleakala (10k feet high) on Maui.

I'm not exactly sure why the equivalent of Multiscale is bad, in any universe.

Also, Moongeist Beam has a Mold Breaker effect on it, which is pretty cool.

Not impressed that the multiple Pokédex is returning, hated that gimmick in X and Y as it was a pathetic attempt to hide that Kalos had a low Pokémon count.

Or... maybe it was just a way to section out the highest available Pokemon count in the entire series by far, Mr-Cynical? lol. How you described the feature doesn't even make a lick of sense.

And when it turns out that this game has about as many new Pokemon as X/Y did, I'm sure you'll be disproportionately disappointed, even though it'll round out so that the last three years of this hardware gen saw more new Pokemon dropped on it than any besides the entire DS gen.

I'm fairly certain they revealed legendaries for X/Y in a similar manner; I remember making my decision on which version to buy based off their abilities. Or maybe it came through CoroCoro or some leak, idk.

Surprised there's not more hubbub about the return of customization. Props to GF and TPC for listening!

I'm still trying to think of a use for Mold Breaker on a Steel move. Like you can use it against Sturdy Rock types but it's overkill. Mold Breaker on a Ghost move might at least be useful for breaking Lugia's Multiscale.

Aloha region is actually the aftermath of Team Aqua winning and there is remnants of Team Magma still around. This is one of the only places that still has land left on the planet, like Waterworld.

I'm actually pretty ok with Solgaleo's typing. I mean it makes it really weak to Primal Groudon which is a bummer, but its also not weak to fighting, so a Psychic / Steel Solgaleo could be a great check to Xerneas. As a bonus, while that Salamence had an HP IV of 0, even assuming a defense IV of 0, I think Sunsteel Strike actually OHKOing Salamence means its gonna be a pretty strong attack, perfect for slamming Xerneas! Full Metal Body isn't bad either considering all the Salamence roaming around Ubers due to Mega Salamence being so dangerous in 6v6. If we get another Ubers VGC, that Intimidate immunity will still be handy!

Lunala on the other hand... I'm really worried about that thing. Ghost is quite possibly the worst typing they could have paired with Psychic. That 4x weak to Dark and Ghost is bad news in Ubers! However, Shadow Shield is a Multiscale clone, which is an incredible ability. What I think Lunala is gonna need to work in Ubers is that its gonna have to have Great SpA and be really fast, otherwise I think the typing is just gonna screw it over too hard x_x
