Good point. I always think something is not right about her stance but I couldn't tell. Definitely the feet. She looks like
she's going somewhere instead of actually standing there. I guess it will make more sense when we are actually playing the game since she won't stand for long, but in image it just looks.....unstable.
 
Looks great! So glad I backed this! Need to get around to up my pledge. Currently sitting at 150, but I want the big box:) And that music is sooo vania!

Looked more like a debug test. Enemies and such will be added later I presume, HUD wasn't there either. Floatieness is true to CV SotN, so it is intended I guess.
 
Can we get the PC demo even though we backed the game for the PS4 (at the $60 tier)?

Yeah that posture is complete nonsense. But oh well I've given up on Miriam looking cool or badass a long time ago, from her outfit to her stance, unless they change everything she'll forever be "girl in a dance club" over adventuring badass. :P

Probably not, the Demo is only for PC, because of certification process on consoles.

They said right in the update that they'll be mailing out Steam demo codes regardless of the platform you backed. So even if you got a PS4 copy you'll be able to play the demo. That's how I read the update anyways. I think that's what it said.

And I have some exciting news: We’ll be showcasing a playable demo at E3. In addition to that, we'll be giving the demo to all backers at $60+ tiers.

Who gets the demo? We'll be sending it to everybody who pledged at a $60 tier or higher and filled out their backer survey by June 13.

What platform is it on? Windows only; we'll be distributing it digitally, through Steam, so make sure the e-mail address on your survey is current!

The weather effect on the deck seems incomplete; the deck is bone dry with no visible water splashes or pooling. Otherwise, the environments look fantastic.
 
My understanding from reading the update is that the E3 demo going out to all backers at $60 or higher, regardless of platform. The still forthcoming Beta will go out only to people who pledged $60 or higher and chose PC Digital as their platform.

I have to say that the music, background, and atmosphere look to be coming along great! Brought a smile to my face to hear Yamane-san's classic 'vania tunes in new form :D

Just one request to the dev team based on what I saw: I hope they reconsider Miriam's idle stance. I don't think it flows well with movement at all, and appears impractical/uncharacteristic for a demon hunter.
 
Maaaaan, I knew I could count on Iga. Gotta give props to the devs at Inticreates too. They catch a lot of flak for Mighty No 9, but how much of the problem really lies with them for that one? So far Bloodstained is showing a lot of promise. Keep on rockin' Iga and Inti!

Can't wait for that demo!
 
Im happy the two projects I've backed will deliver. Pillars of Eternity already delivered to be more precise. I'm certain now this will deliver. Can't wait to get the E3 demo next week.
 
Looks good considering the early stages. Visually I think it could use a bit more contrast, or maybe some color filters depending on the environment to help with the overall cohesion. It looks a bit too well lit for a ghost ship. Introduction of fog would be a good one for that level. It would also be nice if the lighting interacted better with the character model. I would say she maybe stands out a bit too much? Like for example, when she running near those purple lamps the models should react to that color.

Animation looks a bit stiff, but otherwise good. She moves like one would expect of an IGAvania hero.

Very promising trailer for sure though.
 
Some people swore up and down that I was wasting my money on both this and Shenmue III because of one bad kickstarter (Mighty No. 9), but so far they have all been wrong! I can't wait for my demo soon.
 
YO THAT GAMEPLAY UPDATE. They got the running speed and animation down to a fucking tee. I can't believe we're getting another IGA Castlevania, watching that video made it feel so real. In a very surreal way. Also dat JoJo pose when you stand still. And the Michiru Yamane music, this is too hot.

PC. Backwards compatibility being the most important reason, but the possibility of playing it at ridiculous resolutions is also very appealing. I hope it'll support custom resolutions.

Really hoping we'll get plenty of costumes, even if it's all paid DLC.

But I do think, they gonna cancel the wiiu and port it directly to NX.
Because, I cannot believe in the estimated date, that we'll see a finished game.
Backed myself for two game 175$ tier, because I really want a nice collectors edition and thought I'll get the Nintendo one....
