Fans run, temps were low, everything worked. Just a green/flashing vertical band on the left side. Heavean benchmark, csgo and Rocket League

The silicon lottery seems crazy on the 1080's. That guy in our thread who got his EVGA SC to 2100+ is the winner, those cards are reference (Founders) cards with the ACX cooler. I gotta pray that my Gigabyte G1 is one of the golden ones.

It really does. I have the MSI coming tomorrow. I really wanna open it and play with it but I'm thinking I should just wait done the Strix to go on sell and buy two.

Will that nowinstock site send a sms to an Australian mobile? what is the best method of getting alerts for an Aussie?
Some have said that the SMS alerts tend to lag behind. E-mail's probably your best bet.

I think it's US only. I tried setting it up yesterday and they use an email to SMS method so your mobile operator has to support sending an email to your mobile phone and converting it to SMS. Didn't work for me on Vodafone so I'm using email
Big update is that Nvidia now support 3-4-way in Benchmark apps... kinda funny
So tired of the lack of stock for the GTX 1080 and the extortionist pricing ...FE only available and they from $800 to $850 while the ASUS STRIX 1080 from $925+
I just called my local shop again today hoping they would have a GTX 1080 at reasonable price or when the GTX 1070 arrives...
They had the ZOTAC FE 1070, but for $550, so I picked it up. Can't play on integrated graphics anymore. 2 years from now for the GTX 1280 I will be more patient. I promise!!!
The price gouging and lack of stock meant I otherwise wouldn't have gotten this chance for another 2 to 3 weeks at least. And I REALLY wanna play Doom and Overwatch Ultra. I'M SORRY BANK ACCOUNT!!!

dang, my FTW order just got pushed from the 17th to the 22nd at Komplett.no (norwegian retailer). I'm expecting another push back at this point
If you think that's bad, my SC order from Komplett got pushed back from the 10th to the 22nd yesterday. That's extra painful considering how people have already received theirs.
None of those is going to be any different than the others at 4K. Buy the one that's cheapest or in stock soonest depending on how patient you are.

But it sure is annoying. My FTW also got "delayed" by 11 days.
Seems like a sensible move as making 3 or 4 cards work together is most likely a lot more complicated for something like realtime graphics rendering but not so much for scientific computation or non-realtime 3D. Not to mention very small number of gamers actually have that many cards.
My Broadwell E system is now complete since my dual 1080s arrived today.(FE bc of SLI).
6800k, 64MB ddr4, 1tb Samsung 850 evo, asus strix x99 mobo, 2 x 1080 FE.
Any particular reason for your sli scaling being so low?

2050/5500 on the clocks, 74 degrees at full load, 50-55% fan load and I can't hear it.

I'm from Aus myself and I think I'm going to do the Amazon/newegg route. $1139 is a hell of a lot of money, you should be able to grab one for around $900 shipped from the US.

Hrm dunno. Just ran it once. Heaven benchmark both gpu's were close to 100%.
Maybe the high bandwidth sli bridge really is needed? Come on nvidia release it!
