Same, did not expect rush processing to be THAT fast.

I just watched the JayzTwoCents review of the gaming X and he did mention coil whine but said it was only noticeable outside the case.

Throttles at 70c and goes all the way down to 250mhz clock.

Unless the benchmark stops doing 3d at that time, it is weird. I mean, the gpu usage drops off a cliff too so that might be the case. Though isn't Heaven benchmark that town + zepplins? I guess the benchmark stops about 2/3 through that graph. Seems like a bad graph.

I've currently got a 970 with the coil wine issue, but my current case makes it pretty much inaudible, so it doesn't bother me.

Surprised to see the Gaming X still in and out of stock on Newegg. I don't think I've seen a card last this long (although sporadically).

That looks more like it's just when the benchmark ends. If it were throttling as you thought, he wouldn't ask what's wrong lol. 250MHz is the idle clock.

DPD are fantastic. The complete opposite of Yodel, who's drivers tend to sign for the delivery themselves if you're not in and leave your package on your doorstep for anyone passing by to nick.Fuckers. >:o(
 
SO what was the point of that graph? The only thing that jumps out to me after actually looking at it from the point that the benchmark stops is that the default cooling settings suck. Look at how long it takes to drop. Does it idle at 40C+

Idles at about 35c. Yes the fan profile isn't great and precision X is hot garbage, which is what I've been trying to use. I took the screen right at the end of the benchmark. Was wondering if everything looked right. Games run fine, no issues, benchmarks as well, but I'm have weird issues on the desktop that seem driver related or something.

I suppose the point is whatever you want the point to be. I noticed that the fans are at 2500RPM towards the end and to me that sounds quite high. Most fans are noticeably loud at that RPM but obviously that's just a number, no idea if that is loud in this case. Also fan speed % was at around 85% but temps at around 68-70C so at least there's plenty of room to make the fans slower.

Fastsync is for situations where your framerate is at least twice your refresh rate. The inconsistent frame pacing is otherwise very noticeable, as you've realised.

well nowinstock was a complete bust/waste with the alerts. Never got one and had emails and texts setup with them. Also had alerts from Newegg and didn't get anything there.

This is getting silly.

I think it's newegg changing inventory status on their end. I highly doubt they went in stock because I been on the page with auto refresh the whole time and nothing popped

It's also very useful if you have a higher-refresh (but not variable refresh) monitor.

I have alerts and I've been in the chat while working. It never popped up. I got notifications for everything else that went up but not that.

Related, my rush order still hasn't had payment verification yet. It's definitely processing, but whatever. It'll go through.

Yes from Germany. I got it from Hiq24.de. Tomorrow i will make some Benchmarks. Most Important thing for me is the noise.
 
After watching Jayztwocents MSI 1080 review, that pretty much confirms to me that I need not to worry about buying a higher end card. When the time comes, I will just find the best value custom cooler card.
