Black Manta is seriously one of my favorite DC Villains lol. Sometimes he's a goofy ass chump (old age comics), other times he's a serious psychopathic scary dude.
I'm just hoping Darkseid gets in as a playable villain. Not as an unplayable boss. Especially not as a stage transition.

Because Snart is one of the best villains in the best rogue's gallery at DC, and Freeze is a lame dork that people only like because of a cartoon; it's not like the final roster will be hurting for Batman characters anyway.

He did a poll once to see if people wanted Power Girl, Batgirl or Supergirl. Power Girl won in a landslide, Batgirl was in last place. Batgirl ended up in the game, and Supergirl made the cut for this one. Boon's polls, like his tweets, mean very little.
Maybe they're all in the game, and he just wanted to see who'd give him the best audience pop for a reveal?

Im just hoping that if interactibles are gonna continue to be a thing that they are blockable this time around. My God the Dumpster, Car, and Airfield shenanigans. That and a non movie score soundtrack during matches that take place outside of story mode would be nice. I loved the first game but that score was dull to do setplay or arcade mode to.
I cannot wait to see whats in store on Saturday. Show me some meters, stages, traits, gear and characters NRS. I am eager to know what my tools are.

The worst/best interactible was the pig, it was hilarious, but so overpowered.
Why not? He's a major character who's getting his own movie in 2019.Shame we won't see Shazam again.

Dude, chill. Its DC and NRS. In other words a company with alternate reality versions to snatch folks from and a company who historically makes certain they have a way to bring someone back they kill no matter what in their games. MK had the Netherrealm and DC has alternate Earth versions of folks and it was only the Injustice-verse Shazam that died not the one from the main universe. Thus the 2 outfits remember? Heck that technically means if they wanted to bring him back completely different with a new trait power or whatever that its justified storywise as well. Not like they won't be updating returning folks anyhow...
No one is off the books. Everyone from the first game is STILL a possible roster character again.

The roster in the game per se was from "what if versions" of characters. Hence the older Liu Kang and Kung Lao. While the story had them both as (younger) revenants.
And the basis of Injustice was one alternate universe helping the other. So Shazam could be around and taken from an alternate universe if anything. Joker was also killed in that universe in the story and he was still around.
So, yeah...noone is off limits or even actually dead.

That is most definitely Wonder Woman's shield. Not certain if thats GL or Atrocitus' lantern though.

Sweet. I wonder who they'll get to voice Atrocitus, this time. Jonathan Adams did a great job with him in the GL:TAS, even if that version of the guy was quite off-character in spots.
