If Capcom is smart, they should announce a new megaman. It'd be a huge fuck you to mighty number 9 and with the negative reception for that kickstarter now. A new megaman could be received very well by fans.

If Capcom were smart, they would've announced RE7, DMC5, and Dragon's Dogma 2 sometime before this generation's halfway point.
S-E would be a laughing stock now if they hadn't gone all out with announcing games 2-3 years out, but because they did, they're now a legitimate force regardless of whether said games end up being total shit.
Capcom, on the other hand, has practically willed themselves into irrelevance with their prolonged silence.

I enjoy the skepticism. It makes the reveals all the better. The same happened with TLG, FF7R and Shenmue last year.

You would still be waiting for them just as long. Games take the same amount of time to develop regardless of when you announce them.

Yeah, there is no way they are making a Crash game nowadays.
They did actually make a segment lol, since the bit in Uncharted 4 wasnt just them emulating PS1 but a created level, but its not the same

It's just people here and some people on twitter saying that dn't care about it. The'll settle down I think once they see their games play just fine on the OG model.
It's just a circle at this point. Some people held on to this delusion that Sony or MS would cancel their plans for these things. Now with direct Sony confirmation they know it's real. Just some people coming to terms with it.

I'm seeing similar reactions in the comment sections of Gematsu, NicheGamer, and D***Shockers. There are some people who were actually reasonable, but most of the time, it's a bunch of people overreacting.
My favorite comment was someone complaining that he doesn't want to pay $60 for the inferior PS4 version of a game because it's not like that has been the case since, well, multiplats existed. No, not at all xD
I like how it's being treated as such a foreign concept when that has always been the case in PC gaming and yet, no one's complaining.
