Also its time until release. Cassie Cage looked worlds worse when revealed than in the finished version.

The game has alot more color so that really cool.

I think he's just a transition. You can see in the Youtube clip above, Aquaman was knocked into him and he was getting ready to knock him back down. Plus, his costume is, well...simple, compared to the other playable characters.

Well, they said a new character would be revealed. And outside Black Manta, the rest were in the press release/first info.

Supergirl, Atrocitus, Grodd, Aquaman, Batman and Superman were already known.

EDIT: Or I read wrong and they said nothing about new characters. Guess we'll see.

So it looks like dex-starr is an assist of some form, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
He didn't attack but he was hanging around while atrocitus was getting eye beamed so he must be part of the fight somehow.
