Nintendo said NX is in March 2017
Considering they haven't shown it yet, I don't buy it.
Yesterday I played A Link Btween Worlds again.
I still can't believe how good it is, and I still don't understand why many people found it easier than the other recent Zelda games, because I felt the opposite. Puzzles were satisfying to solve and that's all I ask for. There's also that sweet hero mode.
Honestly I like it more than ALTTP: the original introduced hundreds of things but it's slow and some of the things you have to do are too obscure. Fast Zelda is best Zelda to me so I hope this one will deliver on that side.

It's a phenomenal game, but the one-item dungeons still bother me. The puzzles ARE satisfying to solve, but not as satisfying as if you had entered the room not knowing which items to use and ended up combining like three to solve the puzzle.
Because that was an unfortunate byproduct of non-linearity, I'm curious to see how they handle these rumored 4 main dungeons. Maybe you are required to get some base items in a few of the mini dungeons before attempting any of the main ones.
These are both great points. I still loved the map in ALBW but I'm sure that something new done right would have been even better. Let's see if Nintendo really shaked the series with this new iteration.I really enjoyed ALBW, but honestly I wish they had just used a new iteration of Hyrule. I'm one of those crazy people that doesn't even rank LttP in my top 5 Zelda games, so reusing the map didn't do much for me other than give me a feeling of deja vu. I thought the game could have been even stronger if they gave it it's own world, with more room to develop mechanics, locations, characters, and lore.
I definitely agree with the sentiment of your post though. ALBW was a huge, heartening return to form after the uneven Skyward Sword.
Why is everyone having these Zelda dreams? I'm starting to feel left out :/I had a dream they talked about the controls for Zelda Wiiu and gave away the NX gimmick like that.
Boring dream I know.
Lol I hope yall ready for Zeld and not crying like u know yall playing was
What does this mean?
What does this mean?
These last 2 days will be the longestI'm so unbelievably excited for the reveal, it's been too long since Skyward Sword and I'm dying for more 3D Zelda goodness. TWO DAYS!!!!!
based on his twitter, he's *super* drunk lol
The NX release rumor is early 2017 or just 2017 ? or some were 2016 ?
Nintendo LOVE to launch things at holiday ( logic ), so maybe they wait for next year?
And it's "sad" if there plan was to release 1 console better then PS4 and xbox 1. The both of them release a "upgrade console" lol. They surely did this to counter the NX.

Oh :OIt has been discussed in the IGN Schedule Thread so that may be why it was missed.
So I am reasonably sure someone will at least mention NX, but what do you all think the chances are that they will give us some actually interesting information? I'm guessing at best we'll hear the time frame for the reveal event, but you never know- someone may talk about features or games or release timing... what do you all think?

None. Don't do this to yourself.
These demos will have been rehearsaled a dozen times before we see them. They will have token responses for every NX question.

I'm expecting some kind of information about the reveal date and/or location of NX to be shared during Nintendo's 76th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 29. Or in conjunction to that.Agreed. I don't expect any NX info. None.
Nintendo will announce the date of reveal later.
Looks early in its infancy to me /shrug.After playing with VR, the day that gaming jumps ship 100% will be perfection. VR is beyond mindblowing, it's... speechless.

Game gives you a platinum if you mow every blade of grass across the map.So stoked for Aonuma slowly explaining through a translator that The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Grass was inspired by his new hobby mowing the lawn
Have you used it?Looks early in its infancy to me /shrug.
First time I ever used VR way back in the day when I still had black hair and didn't use makeup. Awwwww
*counts on fingers* every single one in existence since the original oculus - I couldn't believe they were actually meaning to sell that shit to consumers. Things largely improved since then, of course, particularly with the Vive - they finally got spatial tracking right, and I finally cannot count the pixels' individual R, G and B components without effort, so we're slowly getting there.Have you used it?

Less unbearable? No, not for me. I am more excited than last year. The wait is killing me.
