Exactly. MS walked away with it. Sony brought cling-film to a colander party.
That something is called common sense, and knowing that this is the same Sony that trolled at PSX 2014 only to absolutely slay at E3 2015. Maybe some of their other conferences were underwhelming, but that doesn't make them so dumb as to announce Crash in Skylanders and leave it at that, expecting major applause.
If that is all they announce, I'll be irritated, not because I think that's all there is to Crash's resurgence, but because I've got to wait for Paris Games Week or PSX 2016 to see the real announcement.
Again, I'm not saying they weren't successful...we probably just have different definitions of massive/huge.

I just don't see why they'd wait until PSX or PGW to make a huge announcement like that. PSX/PGW are usually reserved for already known games or smaller titles.
E3 has to be the time to reveal it. Even if it's just a teaser or announcement with gameplay for PSX I'd hope.
They'll just announce Kickstarters for games that will never see the light of day.
