Ah man. They really did completely ditch the concept of Prey 2 that Human Head Studios did.

Was so hoping that they were going to still go the route that it was, such an interesting turn for hte series and many people were super excited for it.

Hope it turn sout ok but I can't say that I am more excited for this version, I was really looking forward to being a bounty hunter on an alien planet, just seemed like such a fresh and unique idea vs this which seems more like plenty of other games we've had before (IE Dead Space).

It has as much to do with the first Prey as Prey 2 did. Prey: Prey 2: Hardly Praying (Prayloo Boogaloo).

Totally agreed, but people usually want their own fingerprints on their creative work (and possibly also because of legal issues).

I just don't understand the point of calling it Prey still. Nothing of what Prey 2 was survived. Which is a real shame because that game looked cool as fuck.
