If Scropio is that powerful then it should be it's own separte system. I don't want X1 holding back Scropio power!!

they're targeting 4K gaming. maybe they'll have similar resolution requirement as PS4 Neo, only with Scorpio, it need to be 4K instead 1080p. and if all scorpio games will be in 4k, it make sense to leave the baseline on X1. so all the extras power mostly go to the resolution and framerates instead of more visual effects.

Ultimately, that was a pretty disappointing conference. I was expecting way way more from Microsoft given Spencer's comments. This E3 has been lame so far.

Man if you're Nintendo right now, any predictions or plans you had are just thrown for a loop. Scorpio next year and being crazy powerful, Neo probably this year, what does NX even end up being?

Neo is not this year, they already said they want to make sure that there are plenty of games and whatnot that support it for release.
Plus I still think the hardware is not set in stone.

The difference is Sony's could be coming out this year, and will likely be significantly cheaper than Scorpio by the time that launches.

It seemed a good conference to me. Better than Bethesda. Solid 7/10 for me, but 8/10 if i add stuff i didn't catch and i'm betting it was good like Forza.

Good show for MS. Good pacing and lots of games shown. Some look better than others and there wasn't anything too surprising but as long as the games deliver that's what matters.

Great conference, I'd give it 8/10 (as if leaks didn't happen). Surprised they decided to announce Project Scorpio. Going to get Xbox One S and when Scorpio comes out, it'll go to family room while Xbox One S will be at one of bedrooms.

I'm sure they still have stuff they're saving to show at Gamescom like Battletoads (hope so), Crackdown 3, etc.

Great to see that Microsoft made its move before Sony. I think that was generally unexpected (before any leaks). Competition works in our favor. Now Sony, who seemingly was ahead of MS on the Neo/Scorpio fight, is going to have to catch up and match.

Even if the leaks didn't happen this conference was really bland. Better than Bethesda and EA, but that isn't saying much. Scalebound looks like complete and utter ass. That was the big disappointment for me.

Well, I decided as soon as the iterative consoles were rumored that my money would be going to a PC next instead anyway. There's virtually no exclusives I care about.

I think it was a solid 8/10 show.

Gears of War 4 and Final Fantasy XV did NOT show well. That was disappointing. I liked their diversity in the third party lineup, but they still lack diversity in first party. The conference lacked solid new exclusive announcements. However, I love the constant games, games, games approach. I credit Phil Spencer for starting this. I think it was a mistake to show Scorpio so soon though. Sony will counter this.
