Xbox One S: 40% smaller, 2TB, 4K for movies/tv, internal PSU, $300

Waiting to see what sort of HDDs they put in these things before I buy the 2 TB or 500 GB model, since I can get a really good 1 or 2 TB external HDD (USB 3.0) for cheap around the Holidays.

I have no interest in Xbox because MS exclusives don't appeal to me but that's a very nice looking console! Much better than the same old boring black bricks.

UHD Blu-ray at that price is not normal at all.

I thought the drive itself is a fairly standard bluray drive, and the extra cost from the standalone players is for the new chips required for decoding, which the xbox either already has hardware for, or can do in software. Happy to be corrected though.

UHD Blu-Ray is in? YES! I'll wait to the holidays and get the 500GB for $250! The PS4 is terrible for movies and such due to it sounding like a jet engine.

This will be great in the living room!

This show actually made me want an Xbox One, but I'm not willing to put $400 on it.

Well, hopefully the $300 version doesn't come out too much later. October - November maybe?

So in cases like this can you really blame MS when people are so stupid and jump the gun. I've been through pages of bashing basically because people don't read and assumed stuff.

So they made this baseless assumption the expectation and are now disappointed even when the truth is out there.
