Sony could possibly push back the Neo to upgrade it's specs. One of the reasons I really think they decided not to announce the Neo this E3 was so they wouldn't be locked into delivering it at a certain time frame. They could easily release it fall next year as well with better specs if they wanted to surely.

Microsoft conferences usually have a solid amount of games coming very soon or in the next year or so (some exceptions)

The custom controllers are a really cool idea and the Scorpio move was very very brave.

Sonys conference is going to have massive game announcements like last year I reckon, and like last year these will be games that are very early in their development (Shenmue 3, FFVII-Remake)m

They won't need to show the Neo but I reckon it would be worth it to show they have something on the horizon as well

I think it's possible we'll see it on PS4 eventually, like most indies it's hard to release on many platforms at once.

Aside from the specs everything Phil said about the Scorpio ecosystem is exactly what the Neo would be doing.

But everyone was like "that's too much work for the devs' blah blah blah.

Now I see Colin of all people saying the Scorpio reveal was masterfully done. All the arguments should still apply.

That said apparently Sony isn't announcing Neo tonight anyway.
