Also, so happy for the PC folk finally getting a Tekken installment. Hope Bamco enables crossplay between PS4/X1 and PC so that the PC audience doesn't run out of players after a month or so. A growing platform for fighting games like the PC should be well nurtured and supported.

PS4 since I've been getting Tekkens there since I started the series with T2, been a hardcore Tekken fan for over 20 years. Steam for the mods, enhanced graphics and extra additions.

Yep, they did it with T6/Bloodline Rebellion and TTT2/Unlimited as well.

Harada announced that Xbox Live Gold members can download Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free during the week of E3.

Killer Instinct is Xplay, Street Fighter V is Xplay and I'm sure Harada noticed the trend and maybe even make it full Xplay.

Who knows what will be announced until 2017.

You are misinformed.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection was the expansion to Tekken 5. It was also released for PSP and PS3.
Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion was the expansion to Tekken 6. The X360 and PS3 versions we got, despite being called "Tekken 6," were not based on T6, but instead based on T6:BR.
Tekken 7: Fated Retribution will be the expansion to Tekken 7, and the home versions coming next year are based on that as well.

I don't know why they can't just call the games what they are ::shrug::
