It's all about games, Keep your TFlops and what hav ya, I am happy with the ps4, I'm older now and me and my friends just like to play games.

Microsofts conference didnt do nothing for me and make me want to switch back to them even when scorpio drops. How many Forza's do they need!

All Sony have to do is keep them coming with the games. Simple.

Not bad. Just not really noteworth outside of two announcements that bookmarked the event.

I really don't understand why MS would spend so much stage time on games we have seen for months/years. Minecraft, FFXV & Tekken 7 all got stage demos. Why? It just made no sense & shredded the momentum they were building up with the first few demos. I hated the GeoW 4 demo (looks great graphically, gameplay looks super dull), but I though tit was at least matching the pacing of the show.

They need a new conference director, no joke.

Because they have to somehow fill that one hour. MS don't games, you'd realize that when they talk about games that have been on Steam.

Why is it whenever a game is said to be at a Sony conference we instantly start talking about it as a possible console exclusive?

-_-

I just want to see it in action so bad. No CGI only trailer pls.

Have there been any new Sony leaks/teases in the past few hours? (Not asking for some new ones now just asking for ones I missed)

If Rockstar does show up at Sony's conference to announce RD3 then it automatically becomes my favorite presentation of E3.

The best so far has been Bethesda, which was great but not enough to carry E3. MS had great hardware but they were only decent on games. Really hoping Sony knocks it out of the park. Though to win I don't think they need to hit last year. Even 2014, despite powers, beats everything this year.

MS' conference really wasn't bad.

It was pretty awful. I think the only new game announcements were Dead Rising 4, State of Decay 2, and Forza Horizon 3. Playing it safe is an understatement.

Plus the fact that literally the whole running order leaked. I don't have a problem with the leakers but it's clear that MS fucked up big time somewhere along the line.

XBOS is nice though.

MS' conference really wasn't bad.

The pacing of the presentation was not bad but content-wise it was really poor, definetly below E3 2015.
They had no new big game announcement, they effectively put all their games on Win10 leaving the Xbox without first party exclusives thus losing its own identity as a platform, GOW4 and Scalebound were disappointing, Recore resurfaced like some kind of indie game.
They introduced the Slim at the beginning just to announce at the end that they're now focused on a new box coming in late 2017.
It was not good at all, they just made happy those fans on the internet who were craving at the idea of Microsoft having again a box more powerful than the competition but right now it's all smoke.

Sony needs to focus on great exclusives and I hope that tonight they can deliver on that front.

RDR2 and 1 Remaster, RE7, REMake 2 footage & Shenmue HD Collection

Sony, good luck. We're all counting on you.

Because they have to somehow fill that one hour. MS don't games, you'd realize that when they talk about games that have been on Steam.

But think about it - they showed a quick trailer for DR4, but they were sitting on an extended gameplay trailer, and the game clearly has enough material to do an on stage demo. Same for ReCore, and both of those games are slated for release within the next 6 months.

This is really whats killing them & how they showcase their attempts & their games. Sony marketing does a way better job at highlighting games they want the PS audience to be interested in.

MS, on the other hand, is a MASTER at messaging. They delivered the news today that all Xbox exclusives would now be coming to PC in one of the greatest PR sleight of hands i've ever seen.

It was a direction setting show more than a big content one. They showed their commitment to W10 and new hardware.

I'm expecting Sony's to be more akin to what most mid gen shows are like: An emphasis on a lot of games, although PSVR will likely have a big presence.

The only real thing I want out of this conference is a new premium controller option. Xbox has a great premium controller and now the option to customize regular controllers. Sony needs to step their game up in the options they give players for their controllers. Options are your friend Sony.

So Ubisoft had a fucking strong conference.
I wouldn't be surprised if they'll have my favorite conference 2 years in a row now.

Over for who

it's a multiplatform game and it's not on the level of the big 3 last year

To be fair, neither Shenmue or FF7R were exclusive announcements either.

People simply want hype reveals at the Sony presser; it generates great publicity and WoM for the PS brand.

MS was decent, but everything being on pc and scorpio not coming for a year (by then, I could spend however much it costs on a better gpu) made it lose steam for me. VR will be nice if they partner with oculus.

Sony not showing or potentially talking about Neo tonight plus their amazing show last year doesn't really give me hope either. If they have one or two surprises that would be good enough I think but I don't expect anything mindblowing this year. Maybe Kojima will have put together a really quick teaser vid, even just animating the Ludens guy would be cool. And good god don't talk about Powers.
