Nintendo fans are some of the most loyal gamers out there, they may bitch and whine sometimes but now and then it is deserved when Nintendo seems to deliberately go against what those fans have asked for, Even then most of those same Nintendo fans will buy the games, products & console's anyway because they love the brand and know Nintendo are always capable of amazing things.

People don't care that this was scheduled or that Pokemon still sells. A boring demo is a boring demo no matter which way you cut it. You tell people to tune in at X time, especially when they make it clear pretty much the entirety of E3 will be for Zelda, showing one trailer and then going "ok Pokemon guys! Here's a boring demo!" for upwards of half an hour is terrible pacing even if this is how they do Treehouses.

yeah it was a terrible demo that could've been a 5 minute video. This is coming from a pokemon fan (sorta)
