Altissia looks so beautiful, I wish they could add that city to Final Fantasy XIV.

Altissia looks so beautiful, I wish they could add that city to Final Fantasy XIV.

I would be very surprised if SE didn't do some collab between XV and XIV to help market the game. Many of XIV's players are newcomers to the franchise and don't know much about the other games.

I understand the need to show off an airship but the purist in me thinks it's wrong to show off an airship to a new Final Fantasy at E3 or even before the game comes out. One of the my favorite parts of earlier FF's was the excitement of "I wonder what the airship is going to be like this time?" and they just go up and spoil it in the Uncovered Stand By Me trailer. I mean, I get it, but at the same time, I think some things are left no knowing. I'm hoping there's another airship later in the game for a big surprise.

Don't particularly care that they showed the airship, I'm not exactly surprised they did considering how much of a big deal it was that this game had one at all given the recent FF titles. Looks awesome anyway.

These videos look great, but I'm still worried. They look much cleaner visually and run much better than the demos. I'm trying to get rid of the sneaking suspicion that we're seeing PC footage.

The console footage they showed at the recent FFXV Uncovered event had poor image quality and framerate, but this footage looks much better. Almost surprisingly so. I'm hoping the final console release looks and runs this well (mostly because we aren't getting a PC version...at least immediately).

I played FF13 almost solely for the combat. I loved it and it carried me through the whole game.

That Altissia gameplay is amazing. What a beautiful BEAUTIFUL town. I can't wait to just chill there.

It's definitely on console considering their hair still looks like a jagged mess.

The higher res isn't helped by the sharpening filter(iirc there is one) and it's just making the game look poor. The softer look of Duscae would do this game a ton of favor.

One thing I missed in the demos was being able to zoom in and pull the camera away. I hope they add that into the final game, especially seeing how much screen real estate is taken up in airship mode.

I'm actually very happy with the footage.

I'm just saying it's bittersweet having an FF airship revealed so early before release. I'm still of the mindset that airships should be never be revealed before the game is out, but I realize that's a part of an age gone by and I understand why they did this.
