Apparently fan letter campaigns on online petitions changed Squares mind on not localizing.
Just fyi, 4 and 5 are out on IOS and I think they control extremely well. Purists would certainly disagree, but I think it's the best way to play the game.
I've never played DQ VII but I would definitely recommend DQ 4 as a starting point. Alternatively there's DQ II on mobile which is also a good starting point.
They're all great games though and easy to recommend to any RPG fan.
they are going to be really pissed when no one buys this game
