I wasn't saying that leave is far right, just saying that we need to stick together and work together. I have my own problems with EU but there are concerning trends in Europe that needs to be challenged.

Absolutely. As a European, the rise of nationalism and the far right is damn scary to witness.

Spoke to Muslim voters. They Voted leave. Apparently the next EC President wants Muslims out of Europe.
Which is kinda true.

On the other hand, a leave victory would risk legitimising and emboldening the far/ultra right that support leave and christ knows what would happen then. They sure as hell wouldn't be happy with the fact we wouldn't immediately start drawing up plans to deport all foreigners.

Completely agree - just that with the vote expected to be close, we risk ignoring the more rational brexiters at our peril

Someone needs to shop Blairs stance on Freddos in there...

Another hour and another update. In the past hour the markets have all moved towards a remain win, again. The markets at 1120 are:

FTSE100 - 6,364 (up 1.6%)
£ - USD 1.489
Betfair - 1.16 (86% remain) I believe this is the highest probability it has ever been.

Time for another update. The markets at 1220. The FTSE 100 and FX rate have moved ever so slightly more towards leave than one hour ago, whereas the betting market seems to have decided remain has won.

FTSE100 - 6,352 (up 1.5%)
£ - USD 1.488
Betfair - 1.13 (88% remain)

I would say FB as well but all it usually does is make you hate people you once liked. Twitter at least lets you just read the randoms meltdowns.

So true, seen so much shit and misinformation this week.

Just voted, all our family are remain as is the majority of our area in North Bristol. Looking forward to the results show tonight, doubt I can pull an all-nighter though, I'll be off to bed at 1am and hoping for a good result in the morning.

I think the betting markets moving quickly to "remain" isn't because anything big happened to push people towards remain, but rather that nothing big happened to push them away from it.

It's morbid but the 5% between 4/1 and 6/1 represents the terrorist attack that didn't happen in the last few days.

A lovely fellow encouraging people to vote leave in our town centre informed my mother and myself, of Indian descent, he'd like his country back.

Will be voting remain, not as a result of this incident. Just don't trust the British government with free reign. Also as someone who will be working for the NHS in a few years time.
Funnily enough, my Indian decended boss thinks we should leave for the same reason

I have to agree. The consensus has been remain to win except if something unexpected happens e.g. terror attack. As the day goes on, and nothing has happened then it will naturally shorten.

Thank you for doing these btw

I'm not a gambler, but I've been really tempted to put a bet on Leave. Seems like really good odds

Wasn't going to vote at first but i remembered some guy on here talking about how he lives in flanders and he wished he could vote remain since us leaving would effect him too. So i voted remain.

That was for you random flanders guy.

That wasn't me, but I'm from Flanders as well, so you get my thanks!

The problem with this campaign is if Leave mentioned immigration they got shouted down as Xenophobic and Racist.

It drives a lot of people to Vote Leave for actually refusing to discuss the point.

The actual reason a lot of people want to discuss though isn't because of immigration being a bad thing.

The problem actually comes from Government for not investing in services, housing etc in the areas most hit by immigration.

I've seen over the last several years a steady growth in my GP waiting times from 48 hours to 2 weeks or longer depending on time of year. Dentist... hahaha who are you kidding...

In an ironic twist we also need more immigration because of immigration...
As we don't have enough Dental Surgeons/Doctors to cope with the increased numbers!

So yeah - here's hoping this referendum serves as a kick up the backside to address this

Would be very interesting to see the amount of financial investment from local and national government before you blame "immigration"
