These were only good for black tongue. The real players were fruit salads

Wanna have your mind, brain, balls and cock blown?

I use it every day. It smells EXACTLY LIKE THEM.

Quick question for those that have already voted:

Even though the polling slip is very big, clear and simple, did you double check you'd marked the right box before putting it in the slot?

Like you'd have to be a moron to get it wrong but I still felt like I had to make sure.

I didn't, but I'm feeling confident after the mindfuck of the scottish elections and council elections at once in May.

If I can survive that, I can do a simple cross box without fear.

Dr Pepper is the only choice for the enlightened individual anyway.

You do know you have been Euro Cloned and your vote is merely for show?

I hope my Euro Clone is an Italian, so I have something to cheer at the end of Euro 2016.

I'm sat here imagining thousands of MI5 agents furiously rubbing out Leave votes and replacing them with Remain. Surely the most practical way to fix an election

I always do.

I checked twice.

One previously vocal Leave supporter at work just told me she switched to Remain. Wonder how many others will switch when they have that pencil and ballot paper in hand.

Dr Pepper is perhaps the only of the various fizzy drinks where I actually quite *like* the Zero version. (There's a few others where I'd say I don't *dislike* it)

Okay I've got you beat now. Scotlands finest export*, Irn-Bru bars.

ylA6iQn.jpg

*Not really exported anywhere as only Scots buy them

I didn't know these were a thing, but I know I now want one.

There are few things I enjoy as much on a Saturday evening as a trip out to the chippy, usually with curry sauce, and an irn bru. Followed by sitting at home and watching some nonsense TV.

I should probably add what I voted for to the thread.

Went with remain.

Oh I'll 1UP your Kola Cubes.

FROSTIES.

God I miss them.

THIS.

10p a tube. Summer holidays were weeks and weeks of sun, fields, trees, sea and sticky teeth and crying dentists. Beautiful.*

*may not be entirely accurate, I was a troglodyte on my N64

Scottish turnout apparently low (FT)

This rings true. Most of us don't care.

We are generally tapped out on politics. It's our 4th massive vote in less than 2 years.

I thought it was a dreadful decision to hold the referendum so close to the Scottish Parliament election.

Added to the fact that all of our political parties and personalities agree with each other on this issue and it doesn't inspire much interest because of it.

This is my constant worry after I vote.

Same here! And I think he usually votes UKIP so I'm glad to hear it

(The rest of the office is still resolutely Leave, oh well)

I've never seen those before in my life, but I know I want some.

I might have to pop in to Mr Simm's on the way to the bus stop.

They are truly the GOAT.

Mr. Simm's is OK but they don't have the greatest version of these, they are a little harder than the classic pint pots.

You'll honesty either go into a sugar comma after eating one or be kept awake for 24 hours with jitters. Still. Try one at least once. lol.

Time for another update. The markets at 1220. The FTSE 100 and FX rate have moved ever so slightly more towards leave than one hour ago, whereas the betting market seems to have decided remain has won.

FTSE100 - 6,352 (up 1.5%)
£ - USD 1.488
Betfair - 1.13 (88% remain)

Markets quiet in the past hour. All metrics have slightly swung towards leave. As at 1320:

FTSE100 - 6,337 (up 1.2%)
£ - USD 1.487
Betfair - 1.14 (88% remain)

Good thing here is that every legitimate vote will count. Regardless of the area you happen to inhibit. :)

Unrelated to that, but another question: The Pound is riding high against the Dollar, due to a feeling for Remain. If the result is to Leave, who is worst hit by the drop in currency that will happen? I presume bankers and investment houses?

I am. And any other business that imports its goods.

Conservative-GAF or GAF with conservative family, how are you voting/they?

Pretty certain this vote will be won on how Conservative England sways.

I am conservative, but I am not a rightwing demagogue libertarian nutcase powergrabber and I believe in balanced consensual politics. So, Remain.

I remember buying those at a farthing each.

I noticed Simm's stock a lot more American goods than they used to, but they still don't sell the big bag of chunky Cheetos I'm after. They do have a good selection of American drinks, though, but let's be honest - it's all about getting a quarter of your favourite sweets. For me, it's gotta be cola cubes.

#usepen demonstrates how rarely some people vote. My old polling station always had little stubby pencils to use for voting.

I'm also enjoying the sweet shop nostalgia. I'm down with #teamfruitsalad but in all honesty nothing beats the Mojo...

Frosties! My God completely forgot about those.

I see your cola cubes and raise you with white chocolate skulls with strawberry blood

These are soo good.

Past few years i've always mention to my partner how much i love penny sweets and that i'm going to by a bunch. Last xmas she bought me loads of different tubs. Those skulls we're my favourite. The sweets should have last like a year i finished them in april haha

Sounds like a plan, I've never come across one though, not any on Amazon either, disappointing to say the least. Wonder if there's some Scottish import site somewhere so I can get my square sausage on too, lol.

One of my most fond memories of visiting some friends in Scotland is popping into a Tesco to see that where you usually have half an aisle to Coke there was a half aisle of just irn bru bottles and cans.
I also asked for a drink to have next to the bed incase I got thirsty during the night and I got a glass of irn bru instead of water, not sure if they were having me on or it is actually what they drink up there all the time.

American sweets are okay, fizzy drinks not bad either, but their chocolate is downright awful.

Every time I've visited the states I cringe in disgust at the chocolate I have to eat.

Some Scots are Irn Bru nuts, but some Scots are crazy and have no teeth. I enjoy the odd can but very rarely these days.
