Steam Summer Sale 2016 |OT| It's better than nothing

Another bust of a sale unless prices haven't corrected. Was hoping Gungeon, Stardew and Salt and Sanctuary would at least get 25-30% off. Gungeon and Salt only got 10%? not even worth the time of adding my bank card.

Doom i might buy if the store ever works for me.

600+ games on my Wishlist. At a quick guess about 450 are on sale, to one degree or another. But some of the ones I'd expect to be on sale aren't - Contradiction and Final Fantasy IX, for instance, aren't showing any discount. This makes me think it's still updating.

Damn, how do you even keep track of that many? I have ~50 games and there's several I add on a whim and then within a month forget why I put it on there.

Hearing all the positive responses to Stardew Valley has put it on my radar.

I'm another one of those "I was never really interested in Harvest Moon-type games" people that ended up picking Stardew Valley up because of all of the hype, I put almost 80 hours in to it and the only reason it isn't higher is because I'm waiting on the next patch to start over. Its a lot of fun, a great game for playing while you're watching TV/listening to a podcast.

Yea these sales are just not that great tbh. These are prices that are still more expensive than what you can find online that have been there for quite awhile. Step it up steam step it up!

Think I'll bite on Pony Island, Twilight Struggle and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. No Devil Dagger sale is a bummer.

Also, everyone buy Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight. I don't even know the discount. It doesn't matter. Buy it.

I only just learned of it from coming to the Steam threads today! :D Looks awesome, right up my alley.

Are the other games good too or just go straight to Reverie Under the Moonlight?

^The older games are good.

LEGO Batman 2 or lego batman 3?
I liked 2 when I played it, but how is 3 compared to it?

Doom is on sale.

Wasn't going to buy it, buuuuut that demo was pretty good.

Gonna grab Darkest Dungeons, Stellaris, and maybe Grim Dawn.

Fuck yeah, Doom!

Also, fuck yeah Grim Dawn. You ever play Titan Quest? Grim Dawn is Titan Quest. Except everyone's like "shit fucking sucks, I got a gun, and iron is a currency!"

there is a big difference between this sale and previous sales, a big part of my wishlist has no discounts at all and those that are discounted have the same discount they had before...

Life is Strange complete season for $10

I'm in... if ever get it to load.

I think that the Final Fantasy stuff showed up a few days late in the winter sale. they waited until they were featured on the main page.

20% seems kinda low for Stardew Valley.
I would get it if I knew the big content patch was coming soon.

At this point, I'll just wait for winter sale =/

I never actually played anything else in the series, but I think I remember hearing that the other games were good, but the jump between the last one and RUTM was pretty astonishing.

I shoulda just grabbed Dragon's Dogma when it was $13 a few weeks ago.

Where was that? On Steam?

The game was a bigger hit than the developer could ever dream of, why give a deeper discount when a simple one will bring in better income?

The Nep games are super cheap, get them!

There are far better alternatives than Nep Nep.

Dex is 75% off, lowest its been I believe and super tempting, putting aside the "this game has humble bundle written all over it" >_>

because I would buy it at 50% but not at 20% :p

you are not wrong in the developer's point of view for a hot game (like Cities never went bellow 60% on any site for example because its hot), but im not the developer

Ah, good to know, thanks...

Also: Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is 50% off. It's the first discount for it, and it's a large one.
