Finally...I can't believe that it's come to the point where games get better discounts elsewhere than on Steam first. I feel like we should just boycott steam sales one time just to send a message..(yeah not gonna happen but damnit I want the old aggressive discounts back).

Ehehe error galore.
I see lots of RE deals jumping on that once things cools down. Evil Within too.

So. Damn. Slow.

I actually think the deals are better than the last Winter Sale, at least judging from my wishlist.
I'm glad I trimmed my wish list. All of em have the discount tag. :o

Tried to buy a game. Working.......................there's an error loading your shopping cart. Whelp.
I guess Steam doesn't want me to buy any more games.

Walking Dead Michone is 50% off which is decent for how long its been out.

edit: The Witness has a discount now... 20% lol >_>

Thread title is on point.

These sales used to be some of the biggest events in PC gaming, and now they hit with all the force of a wet tissue.

Hyper Light Drifter is the best Zelda game I've played in years.

Salt & Sanctuary is a pretty good approximation of 2D Dark Souls, with a weaker (imo) art style.

Fuck, I'm at work, can't see any deals till 6 tonight.

Are any of these games on sale???
Divinity original sin
Shadowrun hong Kong
Deus ex human revolution

Those the three I really want to play, like, badly.
Divinity: Original Sin - 50% off
Shadowrun: Hong Kong - 65% off
Deus ex - 75% off

I miss the dailies. As someone not looking for any game in particular and not having a wishlist the dailies were a great way to discover new games.

Got paid this morning, DOOM and Transformers: Devestation on Sale.

Plenty of 20% off deals for games I may pick up since I've been waiting.

But 40% off DOOM and 75% off Transformers are insta bought.

Eh, just do your queue and remove stuff like early access and genres you don't like.

So far this sale is a shit show between the server problems (can't even get through the queue exploration for the free cards) and no meta game. I'd add underwhelming discounts on the Ass Creed games, but I trust in Ubi to run some hidden daily deals during the sale.

was The Evil Within optimized? I remember it playing really poorly and unoptimized on PCs when it first came out.

gotta laugh at the pricing on skyrim legendary

it's been as low on $10 on steam (and even lower on 3rd party sites like DLGamer and Gamesplanet) but for this sale they put it at the low, low price of $26.65

can't give away skyrim remastered to too many people now!

Man I really was close to buying Wreckfest just then but, is it true they filed for bankruptcy? That's a real shame, I was hoping this one would turn out good.

Some decent prices:

oxenfree is 50% off
ether one 75% off
adr1ft 50% off
sea will claim everything 60% off
the room 75% off (1.34)
peggle nights 75% off (this is a best-ever)
epic mickey 2 75% off
trash tv 80% off (best ever--this is an exploration platformer, maybe a metroidvania)
75% off spider: rite of the shrouded moon (iOS spider-themed platformer, very highly acclaimed)
75% off leo's fortune (also an acclaimed iOS platformer)
50% off the aquatic adventure of the last human (metroidvania game i think)
50% off the bad port of ascension
50% off hitman go
75% off lostwinds / lostwinds 2
40% off twilight struggle
50% off the atari vault

Steam is too big and standard now for those aggressive discounts to happen again.

It's sad, but the market caught up to it eventually, and larger publishers do not see any sense in 90% sales. Indie devs still often do, though, and that's good.

Warhammer 40k Deathwatch 80% off, but Im not sure which one this is with the 567 Warhammer games out, and steam wont load up the store page
Best deal I've seen on the store so far, that's a pretty great SRPG, probably the best use of the license recently.
