I think I'm going to grab This War Of Mine. I've heard it's absolutely wonderful. And depressing.

I hope Hitman goes on sale. I'm became interested after watching Brad and Dan on GB play it.

Can anyone recommend any good 3D platformers in the vein of the PS1 Tomb Raider games or Mirror's Edge (or even Grow Home)? Stuff I've already got on my list: Lemma, A Story About My Uncle, Refunct, Deadcore, Ben & Ed, NaissenceE.

Anything I'm missing?

Any good retro style games on sale?

Very interested in Duck Game and JumpJet Rex.

Thinking of finally picking up Undertale.

Not sure what else.

JumpJet Rex is cool
Squirreltopia is fun (very tough, though)
If you have buddies, you could get Terraria. It is pretty boring solo D:

psychonauts!!!

I don't remember the store usually being broken for so long. It's taking 5+ seconds to do anything if I try to mess with my discovery queue.

Tempted to buy the MS RTS pack. (Age of Empires II HD + expansions, AoE III Complete, Age of Mythology + expansions and Rise of Nations EE for 18.99 euros)

Tomb Raider Anniversary? lol

Since we are all posting about the sales on our wishlist, here are mine:

Not bad at all really. Obviously 50% and 75% are the most common choices.

Code:
0% IIIIIIII
10% I
20% IIIIIIIII
25% I
30% I
33% II
35% II
40% I
50% IIIIIIII
60% II
75% II

The 4 items over 50% are trash VN that will likely be bundled at some point.

Managed to get some games into my cart but I'm not going to bother clicking on buy until tomorrow, unless I want to watch a "working" prompt for several hours.

This is as slow as I've ever seen it. Pretty much a testament to how much steam and PC gaming have gained in popularity over the last 18 months.

Still though, I'm outraged.

Honestly the dumbest thing now about the Steam sale is how long it is. With no dailies and no event, almost two weeks is just pointless.

http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/498/ <-- $0.24 for three turds
http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/567 <-- $0.42 for 11 turds, this might be your all-time lowest per-game price ever
http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/800/ <-- $0.74 for 6 awful anime garbage turds
http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/473 <-- $0.30 for three dog related turds
(some numbers might be slightly different depending on which turds you own or don't own already)

just in case you guys want to maximize the +1s for your dollar

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record tells the same events from a slightly different perspective and you play as the main character of Dead Rising 1. I don't know exactly how far they diverge in terms of content.

I went ahead about all those trashes. I won't ever load them.

I also bought Wario64 the Super Mustache to go with those Super Pug games I bought him a while back. I hope he enjoys!

I just bought seventeen games for only a hundred dollars. The complaints in here about pricing are kinda bizarre, but maybe it's just because I live in Canada.

Sigh, got the message "It looks like you've been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours. Please wait a while before trying again."

Maybe if payments would go through the first time..

I mean, not everyone would be able to access it if the sale was for, say, 3 days. If anything it's just more cards for most people though

That's an... odd policy.
I don't know much about CSGO, is there some other reason they're doing this?

I'd imagine its so smurfers and cheaters don't buy multiple copies with their Steam account. Being able to buy it all on a single account and then gifting it to fake accounts is the easiest thing to do for cheaters.

The same complaints have been going for a while, they just used to be in a different form. People amass massive libraries then struggle to find as much enthusiasm for sales periods that they used to

The reality is, their libraries have gotten huge and their actual desirable games short.

I really want to pick up Enter the Gungeon and Hyper Light Drifter. I'll wait to see if it hits a flash sale. Do new games typically do that? (I'm relatively new to steam sales)

Definitely gonna grab Portal 2. Gotta get the mods.

how is sword coast legends? is this one of those where the game design is just poor to begin with, or is it one of those where later patches fixed problems?

Game is great. Great story, with fantastic art direction and music. It has a reverse difficulty curve like 85% of all RPG's out there, but other than that it's a great game. There really hasn't been a bad Witcher game. Witcher 1,2, and 3 are all fantastic in different ways.

I'm like 15-20 hours in. The combat gameplay has NOT improved much in my playthrough and this RPG has the worst inventory system I've ever used out of all the ones I've played. I agree that the story and characters are good, but I've taken too long of a break from this game so I'm kind of lost with what's going in story. I don't know if I can bring myself to finish with the combat being so damn boring. It's pretty much been like roll + attack + roll + attack + use quen/aard + attack, etc...
