God damn, I feel terrible and simultaneously excited. This stuff is like crack, and I'm American. I imagine British TV ratings must be fuckingn absurd right now.

OK OK Laura says Wandsworth going big on 70% for remain. London coming in with heavy hitters to save the North from it's nihilism.

EDIT: Nope that is still not good enough. FUCK.

Vote Leave source says samples so far in Glasgow and Falkirk better than expected for them #EUref

@angus_young61
Leave votes heavily outnumbering Remain votes in Hull so far, apparently. 4-1 in some East Hull wards #EURef

Zero surprise there. Hull's one of the most deprived and forgotten hellscapes imaginable, and we used to have a massive fishing industry too.

Scotland can't save the UK, there's only about 3.5 million eligible voters. Means nothing compared to England's 46 million eligible voters.

Ah, thankies for that video! I've not watched it all yet, but one of the rules for pillows quoted in the brexit movie being about cereal gave me a giggle :3 I didn't want to really use that propaganda piece for anything source wise but actually digging through the ginormous lexicon of regulations on the european site was giving me a migraine. Lesson learned :P

Thanks for this explanation. I was aware of bits and pieces but it seems there's a few gaps in my knowledge that still need filling out, but that doesn't surprise me :3

I can't recall batteries ever threatening my life even as a child so colour me somewhat skeptical on the necessity of having to dig out a screwdriver every time I want to change the batteries in my attacknids :P

the 'thought crime' aspects are mostly contained in some worrying clauses in this statute: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/meetd...ework_statute_/11_revframework_statute_en.pdf

one choice bit being:
which is vaguely worded enough that you could be liable for prosecution for saying Turkey committed genocide on the armenians, for example or the guy who has the act involving "achmed the dead terorrist" could face legal repercussions for example (it falls under 'ridicule' after all).

As for Juncker: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/juncker-vows-to-use-new-powers-to-block-the-far-right-nq5r5tnqq

I don't like the political right myself (I loathe the tories >.<), but if that's who they voted for then it's their democratic right to have them represent them, else it's no democracy at all :/

Fair enough. But Poland is always free to leave the EU. It basically amounts to dimplomacy through numbers. Now I agree with you that's shitty anyway, but that kind of stuff would probably happen anyway. The EU at least provides mechanisms to resolve these kind of things as opposed to in the past when countries would simply invade each other.

What I'm trying to say is, any large group is going to have fundemental flaws. And I believe all the problems we find in the EU would still exists even if the EU itself never did. However, I do think the EU has done a lot of good that wouldn't have happened without it. That's basically the position I am coming from, and regardless of the result, I will still spout my thoughts on what the best next steps are on here. :P

If we leave it could be a real shit show. Might be fine, or we might have a massive drop in outside investment and years of political drift while we try and slowly negotiate trade deals with other countries.

Exactly, nobody knows for sure and even if we leave and things change a bit, even if things get a little worse for a while, it will get better again. Britain is the 5th biggest economy in the world, so we would come back strong.

And if we remain and its as close as they are saying, the government know a hell of a lot of UK people are not happy with the EU, so hopefully it will push them to make more changes to make this country better.
