Nothing is going to happen really. Too many Brits living in EU countries, and lots of EU migrants living/working here in the UK. I don't see what they can do to change that.

He likely wasn't expecting it to gain serious traction.
They thought they were fighting to remain the largest party. It was a cheap bullet point to win votes.

Ah thankies, I was hoping there was some kind of live feed table like that somewhere we could see. Had one up for the scottish referendum that'd colour in the map as the votes came in: was super handy :3
Can't remember where I read it, but the early part of the night was expected to be good for leave. However, it certainly looks like the momentum is with them - bigger numbers for them, smaller for remain.
I hope things move, but bracing for the worst.
On a semi-related note, I'll be putting a complaint in about my overseas postal vote - don't know what happened, but we've had polling cards sent to us, but not the actual form itself. Thanks to confusing wording, we missed the deadline to switch to a proxy vote :/
