I don't think the weather in London should effect voter turn out that much.

Most people will cast their votes in their local areas so transport should not be an issue, and their were no thunderstorms today only last night.

Can't remember where I read it, but the early part of the night was expected to be good for leave. However, it certainly looks like the momentum is with them - bigger numbers for them, smaller for remain.

I hope things move, but bracing for the worst.

On a semi-related note, I'll be putting a complaint in about my overseas postal vote - don't know what happened, but we've had polling cards sent to us, but not the actual form itself. Thanks to confusing wording, we missed the deadline to switch to a proxy vote :/

This is the perfect time for The Thick Of It gifs.
But that's from In The Loop right?

Birmingham indications as strong as 60 percent remain. Huge deal for the remain camp

I'm glad my hometown is good for something.

Leave might spin this as Birmingham has a high immigrant population, but I'm sure that vote amongst those of West Indian decent are some of the highest.

Echoes of windrush up in this bitch.

More from YouGov poll:
*66% people who left school at 16 voted for Leave
*29% people with degrees voted for Leave
*57% Tory voters go Leave

Labour fucked up.
Great let the dumb fucks who failed to avail themselves of their educational options fuck us due to essentially a bit of racism mixed with their quintessential dumbfuckery.

Thank fuck my education offers me and my family a quick exit.

Why'd he agree to it then?

He wouldn't have won otherwise and a lot more people would have gone for UKIP. Promising it gave them tons of conservative votes and he thought he could play his cards right and have Remain win.

Now looking largely like a slight leave win.

Expect the same anywhere that isn't Scotland or London and doesn't have a large ethnic minority community. Basically anywhere that has been de-industrialised will vote Leave. Neither main party has given these people anything in the past twenty years. So they're hitting back the only way they can.

Shooting yourself in the foot in the hopes you can bloody their shirt.

It's been pissing it down and flooding down here in Capitalist HQ. Wonder how many people thought fuck that noise and stayed in instead of voting?

If Leave wins, is this a massive failure by UK leadership?

Leave even being in contention is a massive failure

Both English Major party leaders, Scottish leader, Welsh, NI, experts, they had everyone of note on their side, everyone with significant power.

And currently leave is winning

I'm not as deluded as I make myself out to be
To be fair the places with lowest populations/turnouts were always going to get their votes counted quicker.

they're also the ones most likely to vote out so an early lead for Leave makes sense really.

But obviously if this trend continues across the bigger places Leave will win this easily.

And Scotland looks to be largely voting remain, let's be clear. Don't throw their leadership in with the other failures!
