I just want someone to remember me so I can get a cool tag. And someone took my avatars years back - that made me sad so I changed. DAMN YOU SCRIBBLENAUTS ENZO MATRIX AVATAR THIEF!!!

Edit: This was mainly a rant about the guy who stole my avatar years ago.
 
I remember Private Hoffman (the outline guys and that EviLore thread LOL), and there was also this guy that also used to post in IGN (HUGE Nintendo fanboy) but I can't remember his username.

There was also this super articulate, eloquent poster that just gave up on gaf a few years ago. Can't remember his username either.

Then there are the meltdowns and bans. I remember some guy was perma because he had a meltdown about another gaffer that had like too much cleavage or something on her avatar? It's been a while.

Private Hoffman was huge Sony fanboy during the dire early PS3 years.

What a console warrior.

Anyone remember the lawyer dude super into guns? I forget his name. Dude knew how to rile up anti gun GAF lol.

I Miss fiction too. I applaud EviLore for taking action against the rogue moderation parties involved, and respect the fact that he nuked/erased her account as per her own request, but I am still saddened not to see her around. I know some people on GAF still keep in touch with her. Let her know she's missed from me, will you? We wish her the best.

Yeah, guy was insane to be honest. I'll never understand what drives someone like that. I mean, I guess I can get a viral marketeer being paid for pushing a console/game, etc, but... like a fan with such... passion I guess? That's just not healthy.

HolyBaikal was... something. I think people began to dread seeing his Iris avatar when it popped up in a thread.

Fiction, never got to know her very well, but I got a really good impression of her in the realpic OT of this year.

Sadly I quite forgot to appear more often there, well, next year.

I met Hoffman and went to visit Insomniac Studio with him and others. I have him on Facebook. Really good guy.

I haven't talked to Kittonwy in a while but I still have him on PSN. We used to video chat with some other gaffers.

My mind keeps going back to JackFrost, because he stirred up so much dumb shit and was alter admitted to be a troll account.

I didn't really understand forums back then and only came for the gaming news.

Then I was too lazy to look up my ISP email, which was required.

I have not been around long enough to really get into the classic part but this struck me. Griss is one of the first posters to make an impression on me because when he is on he is on, but even when he takes a position I disagree with he so damn reasonable.

All the anti-GAF Reddit users who complain about GAF being a liberal hivemind need to look at Griss, he never gets banned no matter how objectionable his viewpoint and there is a reason for that.

You can bet certain mods have a 6th sense for detecting old posters posing as new accounts. Diction, grammar, phrasing etc.

I also thought that mods had some type of global note system where they could keep notes on certain users. If that's the case then I imagine some put their suspicions of possible old banned posters and so on in said notes.

Might just be paranoid though

Well there's always situations like Crushed lol.

I believe they are forgiving if people don't continue their gimmicks.
