I could see removing the video, and if I was her, I wouldn't worry about the weed comment. If they do an investigation that part wouldn't be pertinent to the case. That's if they didn't search the car and find it themselves. Which they probably did anyway.
 
Absolutely disgusting behavior by the police officer. Deleting the evidence is even more infuriating.

Yeah, its so ingrained into the culture.

I've become more or less desensitized to this kind of news, which is sad. At the same time this is the one that really hit a soft spot when you see a child watch someone die right in front of them while the victim's girlfriends manages to stay calm in such an incredibly stressful situation.

Do we even know if they did? Please don't jump to conclusions until we know for a fact that the police deleted the evidence.

I couldn't even watch past a few minutes. It's just too sad.

Apart from the shooting, why aren't the cops administering first aid? She's in handcuffs. The dude is bleeding out right there, and clearly in shock (if not dead), and the cop is still pointing his gun at him like he's going to bounce back up and get a second wind.

The right thing to do in that situation is to administer first aid until the paramedics arrive. Not just look at the shot dude.I get that the shooter might be too shocked to do anything, but surely he has a partner. In my experience you can't get pulled over without three squad cars stopping with you, there were surely other cops on the scene.

Fuck the police for real. I'm done. This is too upsetting.

It's unusual but not unheard of to have cars with the steering wheel on the wrong side in north america, I was also wondering if it was possible that the video was mirrored but I couldn't find any indication in the video itself

I mean shit, with how few (if any) cases seem to come about due to the officer putting minimal/zero effort into reviving one of their victims, you have to imagine that they look at this like a golden opportunity to reduce liability. Sure, a death is a bigger deal than an assault, but only if they get convicted.

You can't have an armed populace and an unarmed police force. If you want to see the police disarmed, we need to remove the 2nd amendment, confiscate close to all firearms, and also become a much more racially adaptive country. And also have lots more social safety nets.

Everytime you read and hear about cops shooting another black person you just think what big mess this must been over there but to see it with your own eyes AND to see the reactions of the goddamn police is just too much reality. Absolutely disgusting. I can't fucking comprehend what some cops must be thinking when doing their job. I mean you can get shot to dead because you just want to show your damn driver license (but only if you're black apparently). This is so fucked up. The whole country should feel ashamed.

Fuck I was not prepared for that video. The lady is so calm and factual, doesn't seem to occur to her that her boyfriend is dying until he does. Meanwhile the cop outside the car yelling and holding his gun drawn with no chill at all. Rough damn juxtaposition.
 
Thinking about it, if the cop is indeed an Asian male, he won't be protected. There won't be any Gofundmes or support from his "brotherhhod." They'll throw his ass undr the bus quickly and parade him around as an example of cops "doing the right thing, guys!" Whereas if he were white, we'd already havery that 20k defense fund page set up.
