Police in America can shoot with immunity

I'm just sick of police shooting civilians, civilians shooting police, civilians shooting each other, suicidal people shooting themselves, radical white supremacists shooting up churches, gangs shooting each other, people shooting their children at gun ranges, people shooting elected officials, sick as fuck of everyone and anyone being able to get their hands on a gun and everything is A OK until they, with a simple twitch of the finger, cause pain,, misery, fear, suffering, sadness, death, and anger to their communities, their neighbors, their families.

If this is the cost of second amendment rights, it's not a right worth having. We have made a gross and grievous error in making it so.

Can show a person being executed on TV, but if you show a titty people lose their fucking minds.

And this is Fox News who normally act as some morality police.

Fox News did show a guy putting the gun in his head and shooting himself before. Can't believe they still haven't learned.

I cant believe they showed a cop getting killed on fucking TV.

As if the terrorist blowing himself up wasnt bad enough.

Fuck is wrong with the media in this country man.
Its better than just naming a number of deaths imo.

It shows how real this is and that there needs to be a change.

What did Fox News show?

CQC firefight between a shooter and a cop. Cop got behind him, but somehow the shooter wasn't hit. Cop was behind a pillar trying to get better angle on the shooter, but the shooter ran around and basically blew away the cop point blank, clear as day on video.

If you've ever watched a paintball match in an arena and see people running on a flank and getting a bunch of quick shots off on the run, it was literally like that

Guy on CNN finally giving voice to what I've been thinking all night.

This was likely in planning for a while. Protest provided cover.

Oh shit don't follow the #dallas on Twitter if you don't want to see the FOX footage. Feel like it's only a matter of time before CNN gets it without realizing what it is.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I just finished The Witcher 3 latest DLC and going to GAF to write about it, then I read this shit. The movement for a reform is basically killed. These murderers are enforcing the stereotypes around black people that they are a bunch of thugs. You can be outraged, and sad about what happened to the guy who was killed a couple of days ago(and many before him), but doing all this damage goes against what they were protesting against.

It's just a tragic night and I hope that the people who are hurt recover.

Breh, you have no idea what you are talking about. This shit had nothing to do with the BLM movement. Go back to gaming and post your opinions about Witcher 3 maybe your a little more informed about that.

Nice "thug" dogwhistle too. Smh

Watching the hotel video again, that is tactically trained movements from the shooter. Good grief I'm glad they've been taken alive so we can trace this back

I agree with you, but even if we could somehow ban all the guns from civilians, police would likely still have them. And we'd still have police executing civilians.

So I'm all for a long-term "ban all the guns" plan, but not even that would solve the American pathology.

Is this still just a local Dallas PD issue or has any other group like the FBI, US Marshall's, Texas Rangers, become involved?

Things like this automatically = all hands on deck from all law enforcement agencies. You will get police from surrounding towns, state, and federal agencies respond.

But they allow it now.

If you see someone with a gun in Texas do you think "How bizarre, that's only been legal to do for two years now!"

I'll let you know when I see it. So far, in the 34 years that I have lived here (Houston area), the only people I have seen displaying guns are police with them in their holster. I know some people who conceal carry, but the key word is concealed and it is mostly women who carry it for protection. They hope to never use it, and certainly never want to put it on display.

The whole point is, other states have had open carry laws in place for years, so there is little reason to denigrate Texas specifically for it other than to reinforce stereotypes. As someone who has lived here her whole life, it is nothing what people make it out to be here.

I can't watch this video, I'm done watching people die. This week is too crazy. I wasn't a fan of Hillary but I hear she's in favor of gun control. These crazy people with guns have to be dealt with. Regulations, something. Ugh!

I don't think it does either. Just trying to explain why most cops who blindly defend this stuff do it. My dad is guilty of this shit, he worked 20+ years in the shittier parts of NYC during the 80s and 90s, before it became "disneyland". I've heard plenty of stories but I can separate the acts of individuals from the entirety of a race. Sadly, most guys who have been on the job long enough and towed the company line can't anymore.

Exactly. And the member who responded to me about their father was not even thinking about the fact I am reading dozens and dozens of comments on my friends posts from other cops who work with my friend who are all, literally every single person and his one Facebook post had 68 comments, in agreement. Being cops in Newark & Elizabeth NJ has turned them into something most people could never even imagine. As I said they'll defend any and all cops as a result. It is truly a sickness imho.

Switch Back 9

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
After seeing that footage I would not be surprised if the shooter(s) were ex-military. Dude looked very comfortable maneuvering around those pillars and firing.
