Pokémon Go |OT| As in "Go Outside"

read a few times now that pokestops in cities and rural areas give different amounts of supply
a rural one usually gives 3-5 pokeballs, how much is it in the city?

I get different amounts of items from each Pokestops. I've gotten as little as 3 items and as many as 8, once or twice.

Is that eevee nicknaming trick real?

So far, yes. It hasn't been proven wrong yet. You should look at the full post to see how to do it correctly.

Anyone have an idea as to how much data this drains?

Not a lot. I heard it was around 15 MB per hour.

How do you catch Pikachu? I heard there is a "trick" to making one appear?

Walk away from the starters 5 times. You can also catch Pikachu out in the wild.

Ugh stupid egg glitched and didn't hatch anything. Sorted by recent Pokemon and got nothing new. Walked around some be areas today that were totally devoid of Pokemon. Gotta stick to the city areas.

Took two gyms today for Instinct. Not much backup so they went down fast. Someone was good at dodging and took down my Snorlax with 400 less CP.

Felt good to finally be fighting at gyms.

Going for a walk with my brother tonight, first time I've done a dedicated PoGo walk. Should be fun (we found a Vulpix earlier today, Hypno, Vileplume, and Wartortle are already showing as nearby).

I wonder how much legs this game will have. I'm not seeing anything new for days and it's bumming me out. Fucking pigeons and rats.

I've only seen 60 and wonder where the other 90 are. When I see something new it often just jumps out of every pokeballs I throw and I'm lvl 17.

Apologies if this was posted already but holy shit. Pokémon GO just reach beyond phenomenom status now. Players go crazy when a rare pokémon appears in a park

It's really amazing. My brother and I just got back from taking my niece and nephew out Pokemon hunting. There's a lot of Pokestops and gyms in our neighborhood. Everywhere we went, there were always a lot of other people playing as well. We were out for hours playing too.

They seriously need to consider porting the main series to mobile. I think it could work very well on phones, since it's just turn based battling.

Did another late-night pokemon hunt. Managed to track down a Rhyhorn that was showing up on my radar from my apartment (always thought there were only rattatas and pidgeys here), caught a Slowbro using incence and stumbled on a Hitmonlee while trying to take over a gym.

Think I've also accumulated enough evolution fodder to get myself to next level once I can cash in the gym rewards and buy an egg.

I've gotten quite a few rare pokemon with incence while my experiences with lure have been rather rubbish, incence just seems more worthwhile.

Noooo the first Sandshrew I've ever seen is on radar and this 3 paw bug is still screwing me over.

While my experience with Lures has not been phenomenal, Incense have been absolutely horrid for me providing Weedle 90% of the time. Wish I could have the same luck as you, haha.

When they unveil the Lugia raid, here's some ideas.

Cordon off a section of Times Square, stealthily start bringing in some speakers and set up a live stream up on Nintendo's website and youtube/twitch, along with a countdown. (Maybe choose to do this with a live orchestra)

Countdown expires, one of the screens in the background goes dark. The Lugia Song from Pokemon starts playing and Lugia bursts forth from the darkness of the sea bottom into a whirlpool that fills up the screen.

It would blow people's minds.

n00b question here, but I couldn't find anything on it. Is there a "limit" when it comes to powering up your Pokemon? Let's say I had a level 10 Pidgeot (unrealistic, I know). Would I be able to power it up to 1,000 and beyond?

Edit - Holy crap, I'm an idiot...
