Oh. Thank you.- Kanye interrupts Taylor at the MTV awards and claims Beyoncé's album was better
- Taylor forgives Kanye and they're publically friends
- Kanye release "Famous" along with his newest album, in which he proclaims he "made that bitch famous" and they "might still have sex
- Before releasing the song, he calls and records himself asking if it's cool and it is (the video in the OP, released today)
- Taylor and her marketing team create faux outrage over this despite telling Kanye it was cool
- at the Grammys, Taylor says "don't let anyone say they made you famous" after winning album of the year
People made these headlines too quick, that line has been confirmed now to have been heard to- kim is still adding more clips right now and the recent ones have taylor agreeing with that part.I don't have a horse in this race but out of fairness he (apparently) didn't tell her the proceeding line:
"Why? I made that bitch famous
God damn
I made that bitch famous"
Which kind of takes a little away from the 'tongue-in-cheek' aspect of it.
Yeah I'm lost too
I don't understand anything going on in this thread.
Could anybody give me a summary of what any of this means?

They're both fuckheads but I'll take a fake girl over a Cosby apologist any day of the week.
Thanks for this, edited my postPeople made these headlines too quick, that line has been confirmed now to have been heard to- kim is still adding more clips right now and the recent ones have taylor agreeing with that part.
lol taylor is fucked. it's getting better with each snap kim is posting.
taylor mentions that when they interview at the grammys they'll ask if there's a feud and say of course not, they agreed to the line over the phone, etc.
fuckkkkkkkkked!!!
Internet is on full hate on for Taylor Swift lately, she has been collecting the Ls lately with her shit. This shit been out for 15 mins and already there's fucking memes? Goddam the internet works fast.
Thanks. I knew about the interruption way back when but beyond that I had no clue how Taylor or Kanye interacted at all.
But if she already won album of the year before that Kanye song, and was already incredibly popular back then, how is what she said after her second win disingenuous?
This new video doesn't look too good for her though. That's for sure.
I am like really lost right now.
yeah...can someone explain whats going on?
He was very respectful when he spoke to her on the phone, and he genuinely wanted her to be ok with it. If she had a problem, she said have said something. Not to mention the manufactured outrage created by her marketing team, like getting her brother to post that he threw his Yeezys in the trash.
see y'all at the #TaylorGotExposedParty
yeah...can someone explain whats going on?
If you think Kanye doesn't have the same team of marketers and is somehow more "genuine" I have a bridge to sell you.
Just curious about the legal ramifications of all this. I know it's illegal to record a phone conversation without informing the other party, but in this case, it was done to dispel libel created by the other party.
Yeah whatever Kanye still look like a bitch for having his wife/wifes family speak for him all the time.
Yo! Yooooooooo!!! Get clapped on boi! I'm sorry. I mean get Taylor'd on boi!!!!! Lol! Ye threads stat winnin'!You have a Soulja Boy avatar, bruh

I'm sure that the videoing is illegal, but what Taylor did can legally be classified as libel and defamation.
