I know, but maybe I wait for the vinyl+game LRG release.I live in Spain so it might be a problem for the seller sending here and also with LRG you avoid customs but thanks for the heads up.
Also an important note for LRG if you are going to release(as I think and hope) salt and sanctuary try to wait until the official(already finished) translation to Spanish is out please.
 
Soldner Vita snagged. I also made the mistake of looking at how much I've spent on Limited Run Games releases in the past year. *heh*

This usually happens, because there's probably six people checking out.


But they put the bundle up late, AND the regular unbundled version didn't work even before the bar reached 50%.


I'm done. Been posting here and supporting *literally* since page one. The ONE game I actually wanted the most, by far.
 
Soldner didn't work at all for me, oh well gone from giving up on PS4 releases because of loose discs to now no longer caring for a complete Vita collection either.
 
Seriously. This is shit. Unacceptable. I've supported these guys from the beginning with every game.

I don't even know what to say. I'm seriously pissed right now.

Maybe it's time to abandon this?

I know we're livid right now and it just happened, but I'm feeling the same.

I was watching the bundle listing progress bar go down while it was still Coming Soon in real time. Something absolutely went down.

I'd guess same with the regular copies -- I added to my cart and clicked check out while the bar was still green, within one minute of the listing going live.

I mean, this ain't my first rodeo with you guys or this webstore.

I (Douglas) with a Adrian from Mighty Rabbit, watched Josh click the live button for the bundle. So we aren't sure why it disappeared for a bit and how people could still buy it.
 
Im going to assume the first batch you have a better chance and possible things run better due to lots of us at work. the 2nd batch gets hit harder.

Shame qtys cant go up since they do tend to sell out...
 
Couldn't checkout with the bundle in my cart. Been trying for 10 minutes straight.

Now it's listed as officially sold out.

LRG, you guys have got the point where you're being targeted by scalpers with this "script" nonsense. It may be time to rethink things.

Edit: But I'm at least happy to have picked up a regular copy of Soldner this morning. I would sold that copy to a GAFer at cost if I had been able to get the bundle.

If the system was cheated and more copies go back on sale, I'm willing to forgive as that's not your fault.

I'm just incredibly disappointed and frustrated as this was the one I wanted the most and was clicking on it immediately as it went on sale each time.
 
Aw man...why do I have to be into sneakers and rare games...the home of bots, scripts and crushing late night disappointment.

Waited...saw the stock bar decreasing even though the buy button wasn't live, then insta-sold out on the Soldner bundle.
 
How do those scripts work? I guess my point is, is it possible to pinpoint to IP and ban scalpers? Thats some BS these things sell out 1 minute out lol.

Also saw that one bundle not live at 6PM EST...i was going to add it to the other game ad both sold out...:(

Yeah.

Worst was the bundle not going up exactly the same time as the regular -- the time it took to get to the bundle screen, see "Coming Soon", then go back to the regular not bundled version was enough for it to never go through at all, even though the bar was still green. And then I kept trying and trying and watching the bar go down for the bundle even though it wasn't actually for sale. WTF.


Just utterly gutted about this.

It's not even one minute. It's literally within seconds that it failed. The process did not work properly and people using scripts cheated fans out of copies.

I had the page on auto-refresh every 5 seconds, when the "Add to Cart" option finally appeared (around 6:03) I instantly added the Söldner Limited Bundle to the cart - only to be greeted with "Sold Out" (same with normal copy) on the Checkout page over and over again for the next 15 minutes eventho it constantly said there were still some available. 1 normal copy of Söldner X shows up as still available - but it cant be bought.
Too bad I´m really a big fan of Dyll´s work and the Söldner series :<

The current system is perfect for scalpers that want to game the system with the help of scripts - for normal fans its a lottery :<
I think LRG should add an option for actual fans to preorder the games so we can be sure to recieve at least ONE copy.
Preorder also has the advantage to know how many people are actually interested in a release.

Did this happen this morning also? I kept refreshing and saw no buy button for the Breach Bundle even at 10AM. Clicked Soldner and saw the buy button. It did not appear for the Breach bundle until a minute or two after and when it finally did it was instantly/already sold out.

Truth...I saw the standalone down to 25% and thought "nah, let me hold out for the bundle". That's despite already checking out on B&C because I've been stung waiting for others to go live out of sync before - happy to pay full postage as two separate orders, but seeing it get yoinked out the back door stings!
 
I'm surprised so many people are having so many issues.

I've gotten in on every single release with absolutely no problems at all.

Kind of curious to see exactly what is causing all of these discrepancies.

So have I. Never had a problem until today. It disappeared inhumanly fast. These could not have been legitimate orders.

There were some in stock, Add to car, check out, greeted with sold out message, go back to item page, still lists inventory as available...repeat.
This is bullshit.
 
Ah shit! I completely forgot this was happening today. Ah well, my streak is finally up so I guess I won't feel so bad about missing future titles now, haha.
 
We only had one guy cheat the scripts this morning and it was on the bundle.

Honestly the second batches usually take a lot longer to sell out. We thought by switching it to 1 per customer it would take even longer. But it did not.

We will tell Shopify they need to fix things with as much money as we make through them. Also I'm going to be busy all weekend freeing up copies. We said we wouldn't do a third listing ever again but we might this one time to make people happy and put super, super strict limits on it.

I can't promise anything but know we are actively looking into this and looking for copies for people that missed out and taking them away from the system abusers.
 
I'm still here and still disappointed. I just cannot believe that scripts weren't involved.

Clicking immediately as it goes live, seeing available copies trickle down and never being able to checkout.

I'm really not sure what else to do about this, honestly. I just want a copy.

Same as others above, never had an issue before, this was the first time for it.
