Funny to see various impressions call out their favorite and least favorite characters. Other than Deadshot and Harley, who are consistently cited as positives, and Rope Guy, who is consistently left out, it's all over the place divisive.

I don't think anyone that isn't Australian will "get" Captain Boomerangs subtle bogan humour but he's a great character either way. Just being Australian makes him even better.

Same, except with Avengers 1 as well. All the other films (so five of them) are just meh to really boring.

Though, I can't foresee any upcoming MCU film reaching to IM2/TIH levels again. Maybe Spider-Man because it sounds kind of bloated but Feige would never let that happen.

Thor TDW isn't even that bad, it's just forgettable and somewhat bland. I remember walking out of the theater thinking it was alright, nothing great, but alright, and I've rewatched it a few times since and kept the same opinion. It's not nearly as good as the character deserves but that doesn't make it dogshit.

tbh, I've come to the conclusion that moviebob is a too polarized about movies. When I agree with him, I tend to agree with him completely and find he has many salient points but his biases often get the best of him. For example, he's got some good critical points about the X-men franchise and Brian Singer's directing but he goes way overboard on the hate train. It's becoming evident he's got the same chip on his shoulder for the DCEU so take what he has to say with a grain of salt.

Iron Man 3 is a good film and as a comic book reader for a very long time i loved the twist.

Trailers are indicative of the general tone. Its serious when it needs to be and light when the characters deem it. Leans more towards Marvel tone than BvS tone.

You're only 80% correct because they aren't the only bad things about the Thor series. Malekith was pretty bad. The editing of Thor TDW was pretty bad. The art direction is disappointing (for me. It's a major gripe, actually). Hopkins is just phoning it in as Odin. The sets and armour look kinda plastic.

I don't think any movie Marvel has made in the last decade is straight up garbage. It's just that other than WS, they're all forgettable after you leave the theater. Thor 2 for me is a bit more forgettable than than most of them, but I still had a solid time watching it.
