My free box had the Bastion boxing emote, which is hilarious. I also got Young Hanzo Legendary skin and the Mei Table Tennis player icon, which is nifty.
Not a bad free box.
Played one match of Lucio ball and I don't really get it. Lost 5-0 and the other team seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Oh well, maybe better luck next time.

So, I did the 50 because I've been holding off on loot boxes for a while anyways and I like the game enough to throw them that.
The olympics stuff definitely drops pretty often. You get old stuff too, but I think it prioritizes olympic stuff. 5 boxes in and I've gotten 76's olympic victory pose, 5 olympic sprays(lol), Genji olympic skin and 3 olympic icons

It's by far the coolest skin for Genji. And it's limited too which is kind of cool.
What's the "alternative"? I don't think people who want these items are whining about microtransactions so much as gamble box microtransactions. If they just sold skins for a few bucks each up front, I think most people would be fine with it. Of course that makes them less money...

Yea, that's what sucks about it. I guess there is also a bit of a lure that it's purely based on luck so you know not everyone will have them.

I can't stop playing Overwatch anyway so I'll be playing this a ton. Hope I get something good out of it considering my last 10 or so lootboxes have been lame.
This needs to happen! I want a big Christmas event with specials skins like you mentioned. Mercy can be an Angel, Reinhardt or Bastion can be a snowman and so on, Would be cool too of the maps got Christmas themed redesigns just for the Holidays.

I'm relatively satisfied. The amount of times the only new thing is a voice line is very lame however. Especially if it's a dupe :O

Alright so I decided to try 5 boxes, and blam got the new D.Va epic skin not only in one but in two of the boxes lol, along with getting one of the new legendary skins for Zarya (that I suck at playing <.<), and one for Soldier 76.
Well it was a good test round.XD I might throw in another $5 later on, but meh. I like Lucio skins, but I not going to be sad much if I miss out on them.

Zarya's cosmetics are so bad, and it makes me sad, because she's more or less my main now, especially in competitive.
How hard is it to keep her basic face and hair and give her an interesting outfit?
And her voice lines are all dreadful, too.

Spent another 120 bucks on boxes after spending 300 bucks on boxes the first day
Fun but kinda limiting. Could do with a larger field with more players imo. As it is, it's kinda slow and once players know what they're doing a draw can last a long time.
