As non comic reader, what makes Harley Quinn so combat skilled? Did she have extensive combat experience? Don't tell me it is because she went cuckoo, she is a psychiatrist not a military woman that went nuts,
she was scissoring cops, dodging monster left and right, is this plot armor or she had some elite training because "I am just craaaazy" is not enough.

given a potion by poison ivy and train in acrobats i think is the rational for her powers.

Just got back. I really enjoyed it. It was a fun movie that could have been better with better writing and pacing.

I believe she is an Olympic level gymnast and like the poster above said Poison Ivy gave her something.

I thought it was a solid 7/10 (or 5 depending on your scale). Average, nothing special, but I enjoyed it. Definitely wouldn't call it waste of $5

Deadshot and Harley were very well done. The rest of the cast not so much, they were just sorta there.

I don't think this joker is anything like heath's so the cringe/tryhard things confuse me. He was unlike the others to me.

Read this somewhere... pretty accurate.

Same. I think the internet just isn't dynamic, and people are stuck on their pre-film narrative of him being a tryhard, with little relation to his actual peformance. Plus the film being a critical bomb, obviously he must have dropped the ball.

But he's of little consequence to the film, and I think it was a mistake to under-utilize that character considering how boring the 2nd tier squad is. I think he was interedting, and would be interested to see him in an extended role. I think he will be a far more interesting chaarcter than Affleck's Batman or Cavill's Superman

Their mission was to rescue Waller, Flag was the only one that was supposed to go against Enchantress I think.

I know what you mean though. I would have preferred something on a smaller scale like Assault on Arkham.

Something like that or maybe something involving international borders where the US government couldn't "officially" get involved would've done a lot better and established the team. I had an extremely hard time believing these assholes cared at all about each other one bit.

"I lost one family, I'm not going to lose another."

You've hung out with these people for less than a day, bro.

Just got back. I liked it. Solid 8/10 movie. Will Smith killed it. Harley was pretty good. Liked Leto's joker enough. Waller was a badass. Obviously had a few problems but none more than most movies. I had fun throughout.

I don't think it was a good idea for their first mission to go against a huge meta like that. Doesn't make sense at all. This team would've folded like paper against a Kryptonian.

Not with Enchantress or Diablo on the team, seeing as Krptonians are notoriously weak against magic.

- And man, after seeing and hearing so many dissenting opinions on this, BvS, Ghostbusters, MoS, and just most AAA fictional movies these days, I'm just completely done with movie reviews. People are just too different, and saturated with certain material in different ways. Unless you can find one specific, trusted movie reviewer who has the closest opinion you do to most movies, it seems pointless now.

Saw the movie yesterday and am planning on going again next week, really enjoyed it. My favorite character out of all of them had to be Diablo, really felt for the guy when learning about his reason for being in jail.

Biggest thing I can say about the movie is that I wouldn't mind seeing it again. A lot of these comic movies I really don't have the desire to watch a second time, but here I wouldn't mind it. It's not as hardcore as how much I wanted to see BvS again or get the ultimate cut, but it's there.

Such deflection. A+.

You think I really feel like arguing with someone who fervently jumps at my innocuous assessment of the movie?

Air Bud is a very memorable family film that shows you that if you put your mind to something, no matter what it is, hard work can get you there

Air Bud is a GREAT movie. They teach it in filmmaking classes.

It is a shining example of how to work with animals in film.

Also ya'll are fuckin creepin and peepin with those eyebrow things

Clearly you don't. But it's also clear you like bad shit. You liked BvS, Suicide Squad, Mass Effect 3's ending. There's no shame in it.

So you're going to stalk and mischararize my views? I wouldn't say I liked Mass Effect 3's ending. I've said before that it wasn't the travesty people made it out to be. It could have been better but I loved the game as a whole and tended to treat the entire game as the ending rather than the end.

I didn't just like BvS. I love it. One of my favorite comic book movies ever. Don't have any shame in that. I like what I like.

Suicide Squad was a fine movie, worth my time. It has problems, and if you're gonna get huffy and stalk someone's past views based on a pretty milquetoast view on SS then you really need to get a new hobby or something.

A+ deflection tho.

This i can agree with.
Hard to take Bronson's opinion on films seriously though, bet he has trouble paying attention with those googly eyes which is probably why he likes AirBud.

I am GAF's pre-eminent film critic and movie expert, after all

Mostly because Bobby left and he was the main one who knew what the fuck he was talking about, so by process of elimination, it me

^Ah God, can we have Bobby back please? Does he require a human sacrifice?

Bruh, I found my eyebrow match.

This isn't an online dating service, but my name is Christian, and I'm about to be minglin'.

No need to stalk. I remember you heartily defending the ME3 ending. I don't care if you like it love or want to take it out for a night on the town. SS has a lot of problems, but most movies don't have as many problems as it does.

This i can agree with.

He hasn't even seen Pulp Fiction.

That's kinda where I'm at. More artistic movies I'll still be curious about reviews of some people I like. But trying to see people paint summer blockbusters with the same brush is starting to be a waste of time.

For example, this movie is really pointless to read reviews for. I'm probably gonna pay to go see a new Joker and Harley Quinn. However, another release this weekend, Don't Think Twice, I'll see because a ton of reviews are raving about it.

Positive reviews increase my likelihood to see a movie more than negative ones decrease it.

Austin no

Jesus Christ, that's a real thing. I thought it was a YouTube parody.

Never doubt the power of Christ

Whoa, let's keep the crazy talk to me here. Pulp Fiction should barely be mentioned in any of these comic book film threads.

Yeah I don't want that flop Tarantino being mentioned near my precious CBMs

I've seen Pulp Fiction you dopes, I even went to the Roadshow version of Hateful Eight

Just got back from a showing. I thought it was decent. It wasn't incredible or anything, but overall it was alright.

Seems like critics were out for blood with this movie for some reason. Maybe because they were hyping it up for so long? I will say just like Batman v Superman, they showed WAY too much of this movie with the previews. WB really has to stop doing that.

Good summer flick.
