Yeah I've been gaming since I was five years old on NES, so 30+ years in for me too heh. This anticipation and lead-up is just like Super Mario 64 and N64's launch.

I think at this point there's more evidence pointing towards 30fps unfortunately. Which sort of bums me out since all that pre-release gameplay in 60fps looked so great.

How does the Alpha Vector pre-order ship work? Does it spawn with you right away if you input the code before starting the game? What if you use the code after starting? Not sure I want to use it since it seems to bypass some early game goals.
