Persona 5 went from Winter 2014 to Winter 2015 to Summer (read: mid-September) 2016.

Yes but not after having an event that they told us about starting in August of 2015 (after the Gamescom disaster) that would announce the release date. They had to be pretty damn confident to have that huge event and announce that date.

If they release this at the end of the november it's going to be drowned out by all the big releases. If it truly is delayed I think it will slip into 2017 for sure. Uncharted 4 isn't the best comparison. Final Fantasy XV was announced the same E3 as Uncharted 1.
