But yes I have no clue why it took me a million years to correct my mistake of thinking it was a measly one month delay. Two makes more sense, but still... highly unlikely, and not worth going crazy over UNLESS it's confirmed. If it gets confirmed, different story. I'll obviously say people being angry and upset are completely warranted.

PS, apparently the new trailer today said September 30th?

Knowing how SE is it would be conspicuously absent. Just like before Versus XIII was revealed to be XV, they put out the Noctis cologne that simply said "Final Fantasy" as opposed to previous FF colognes that would have the roman numeral written out.

The trailer itself has no mention of any release date. But it does have a "Powered by Luminous Studio Pro" text at the end. It is clearly cut with the intention of not drawing attention to when the game is releasing, just to showcase the "world" and wildlife.

Welp it's looking more and more likely this is delayed.

Honestly if it would help the game not look as janky as it did at E3 I would be fine with it being delayed to early 2017. But hey hopefully the 2 month delay helps iron some things out

I meant as in what would happen to the sales boost people expected with the launch of FFXV on PS4 there.

No idea which game will take its place for September but we already had Berseria in August followed by Persona 5 on September 15th.

Why would people think they are delaying it for PSNeo.

Just because it gets announced in the event doesnt necessarily gurantee that Neo gets released this year.....unless.......FFXV gets delayed to 2017 :X

If this has been delayed to November 29 (which I believe it has) and if they were planning to show FFVIIR next at PSX they probably won't show it then anymore because FFXV will only be in its first week of sales (PSX is always very early December)... Fuck...

Otherwise I'm fine with them delaying it to make the game better. It is very important for the FF brand that this game is well received and meets sales expectations.

I personally am pissed about the delay. I booked vacation for that (and because September is a freaking BUSY work month for me... doesn't help being short staffed either). I either A. have to keep the vacation booked, find another game to play (or find something else to do) and to take the time off to keep my sanity or B. Cancel that vacation and not take it for a whole year... that'd freaking suck.

A smaller adversary compared to the annual november releases, but it hits where it hurts.

I find that ironic because Square Enix egged on Atlus a lot about P5... yet... they're the ones, possibly, that'll suffer from that?
