I'm really curious how this will do compared to the Nintendo ones (primarily the first one that was US-only). The names in this bundle are bigger than Nintendo's (which were mostly indie games), but they're also mostly for an older system.

That's what you'll get with Neo and going forward. Backwards compatibility with the weird PS3 architecture and all it would be impossible for the PS4

Yeah, this bundle has me debating how much longer I am actually going to keep my PS3 hooked up. I was thinking about retiring the thing to storage once the PS4 Neo releases. I love it but I barely boot it up these days. I find the UI sluggish now.
