Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, Mafia 3. To truly show them off though, they need to show comparison screens of Standard PS4/Slim vs. Neo screens side by side.
I think we'll only see direct comparisons of previously released games then a showcase of new titles running on Neo

Well, they'd would have to be games with a Neo mode right? Unless, they're games with a patch to run on the Neo with improvements. Is that right?
If so, they're likely to be games releasing next month or the coming months after which have a demo showing the improved mode vs. base mode.
surely they have patches ready to go for most of their flagship first party games (uncharted 4, infamous, KNACK BABY, etc.)
and maybe one 3rd party partnership

Would be cool if they put the extra power into LOD and draw distance. Since the base of the game already looks so good.
InFAMOUS released in 2014, nobody cares about that game anymore. What would be the point?

I'm sure they'd want to show BF1, but it's co-marketed by MS so that may put a stop to do that.
GTS is the obvious internal game for them to show off

Knack is the best game on the PS4. Sony should showcase it and 3 sequels on the Neo.
If they change the base mode to allow Neo to use the extra clock speed in it we could get much closer to 60fps in it, even without a patch.

I was just thinking about GTS actually. BF1 is a console seller, so, showing it may show off what it can do. It has huge maps and lots of draw distance.

They are not going to show Battlefield 1, It has MS marketing deal.

I never played it to be honest, but it is also too far in the rear view mirror for me. I think they'd want to show games that they want to also sell more copies of. I don't know that selling however more copies of KNACK along with new consoles is what they'd want to include as an attach rate item.

Last years PSX ended weird with Paragon. Kojima wasn't allowed to attend. We got the video with him and House shortly afterwards.
E3 ended on a weird note, too. With the Days Gone gameplay demo.

It's one of Sony's signature 1st party ip's, it originally showcased the PS4. Good chance they have something in the works.
I wish (seriously).
If there is a Knack 2 that's ready to be revealed, it's more likely to show up at TGS than this.

Sony wants to Knack this event out of the park!
No matter what happens Sony will be in a very competitive position by the time Scorpio comes out. Scorpio will need to be either be sold at a loss or not making a profit for it to even have a chance of getting within range of PS4/Neo by that time. Sony might not even have the need to drop the price but they'll definitely have the scope to be able to do so to really hammer a blow into Scorpio's prospects. Plus just the sheer numbers PS4 is likely to have by then, especially now they're about to have a cheaper PS4 available for the holidays. I'm guessing what, 60-70 millions PS4's sold by then is possible... and exclusive games like Spider-man and Horizon out by or around then.
If anything it's probably why Sony might not go as low with the prices this year as I'd like since they really don't have to and it means they can make a bigger impression with a chunky price drop next year.

I'm feeling Nintendo is nervous as fuck about PS4 slim and XBO slim. The price wars and bundles are going to be insane this holiday and beyond. They are targeting the price savvy cutomers at the worst possible time for them. I think this holiday season will be the biggest of the gen yet and N is just few months late to the party.

If Sony drops the price of the slim to 249 officially, they will absolutely be able to hit 199 on black friday.
Then its a wrap. This budget PS4 unit, way more the NEO will ever be, is the real monster behind the curtain. It seems like they have developed it for maximum reaction speed and fast price drops when necessary while keeping profitability.
the moral is, both consoles are gonna sell a fuck ton this holiday, which is good for everybody
MS should just cut OG Xbox 1, just a pointless exercise at this point to bother with it. Then they can focus on the S's different hard drives at different experimental price points like they did with the 360 S when they cut the elite

Yup, I think black friday prices this year will be very close to the cheapest it's gonna get this entire gen. There isn't much room to drop if both consoles are closing in on 199 price.
they are not manufacturing them anymore and the plan was for it to be replaced by Xbox one S but they are way over shipped and no one wants to buy one over the S at this point. They are probably going to do more fire sales in the next two months to get rid of them. I would say 150 for the OG xb1 is a possibility at some point

I was gonna add Half Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3/HD collection, and a new Star Wars title from EA, but I wanted to keep things realistic.
