No, they are releasing just one new product. Slim will be called just PS4. It's an expected device. Only PS4K and PSVR are new.
IMO, they could release everything at once, and all would be fibe.

to be fair, maybe the Slim does support 4k Netflix / Youtube. We don't know. (probably not..)

I think it was smart to differentiate their products generally. I think it would be much harder to sell the NEO on differentiation just with a power increase and everything else being equal

They sort of have. Xbox still do digital downloads mixed with retail games.
UK truth in advertising laws didn't prevent Sony from promoting PS3 as a full HD console at the time, nor did it come down on Microsoft for their point about every game being 1080p at output on the Xbox One. So long as Sony is careful in what it promises on a per-title basis the name PS4K should be fine if they want it.

Huge difference though, Sony explicitly said it KZ:SF was native 1080p. In this this case they're only adding K to PS4 mainly because now PS4 can output 4K, they're not advertising everything will be native 4K.

Super PlayStation 4 is an awesome name. It instantly differentiates the product, conveys the thinking behind the product, and works in virtually all languages. The only problem with it is it's a little long. What if Sony removed the 4 from the name? Could they get away with just calling it the Super PlayStation?

When you revise a console with the intent of making it cheaper to produce, you don't add things that make it more expensive to produce.
