There has to be a Final Fantasy 15 Neo Bundle
1) FF15 comes out in 2-3 Months and there is still no Bundle announced. Even not for the japanese Market.
DQ Heroes got a Bundle, MGS V got a Bundle and even FF Type 0 got one in Japan....how in the world is there no Bundle announced for FF15 - the by far biggest and most important Game coming out for Ps4 so far. (In Japan)
2) Verendus and i think also Kagari said there is a FF15 Bundle planned
3) Sony and Square Enix waited to announced a Neo Bundle for FF15
What better way to push this new console in Japan, than with the biggest game coming out.
If Sony wants to sell some Neo Console during Christmas, then this is the best way

On the topic of naming, I don't see how the ASA or other consumer groups could make a case against Sony for using PS4K, as long as the console supports UHD Blu-ray.
UHD BD will output in 4K, some games will upscale to 4K. Anyone seen how many '4K' upscaling BD players there are on the market? Has that caused any issues?
They can call it PS4K with impunity if they wish. I still think they'll go with something else; PS4 Ultra, Pro, or Alpha.

I doubt FFXV will get a special global bundle. It's not big enough (I can think of Arkham and Destiny as the only internationally available LE bundles?). It will be like MGSV which gets a big release in Japan and maybe a smaller release in Europe. I'm not sure you'll see anything in the US.

And Sony's. They seem to not have a marketing deal with anyone so bundled are possible for both but not guaranteed for either.

Of course it's big enough to get a global bundle, saying otherwise is ludicrous.
However, that doesn't mean it will get a bundle worldwide and I don't think it will. Japan yes, rest of the world no.

I think the best thing is for htem to show games where the difference between the PS4 and Neo versions are clear as day. XV offers a potentially big chance to do that. Running it at a higher resolution with better AI and a locked framerate will be an easy way to show off the Neo's power. It's not as if XV is an ugly game by any means. It's a game that will simply look much better with the things I mentioned in place.

I meant relatively speaking - it doesn't compare to Watch Dogs or CoD, and really you can't have that many LE bundles on the market at once.
Sales wise I'd put it on the same level as MGS (5-6 million lifetime), but with a bigger slant towards Japan, which is why I used that as a point of comparison. I know it's big but compared to the other bundles Sony could opt for I don't think it's big enough.
That said, I would like there to be a global one. Japan is a given but it'd be nice to see that little extra push for the game worldwide. Please make sure the design is better than that god awful Xbone they're offering as a reward for the Carbuncle promo.

my guess is they haven't announced any new bundles because they would have to announce the new slim which would replace the current PS4. Final Fantasy XV would have been coming out shortly after the new slim and they wouldn't have enough units, and not enough time for pre-orders. with the delay they could make it a possibility now. i also expect a last guardian bundle and a CoD bundle, horizon bundle next year. i think this would be a great time to also announce multiple colors for the slim too.

Playstation bundles are more likely for Japan at this point (with Tabata stating he'd like to work with Sony on bundles) but we'll see.
Ahh okay. I thought all the E3 banners and such were Xbox branded. Was confused about how this game is being branded.

I feel the WiiU being doomed because of the name not being the Wii 2 is greatly overstated. Yes, it was not a good name but Nintendo botched the marketing for that console in its entirety and I'd argue their whole strategy for that system including the launch timing was flawed.
The problem is people didn't want the new Wii at all, not that they had trouble getting one. There was of course confusion. The other thing to remember here is that unlike the WiiU, Sony hopes to sell this to enthusiasts.

Oh, yeah. That makes a lot more sense. I agree with that. 4K probably makes the most sense barring some legal issue using it.
I actually think they should downgrade the clock speed to of the GPU to 800MHZ and the CPU to 2.0 GHZ.
Would still give plenty of power, be more heat proof/noise proof and have even numbered clocks. I can't stand odd numbers at all.

I've mentioned this before. But the prospect of Sony passing on savings via a cheaper cost, or by applying it to it's tech by not having to include a controller.
I mean, at this point - with so many dual shock 4's in circulation (well over 50 million) anybody upgrading to Neo already has a controller. And for those that don't the option of getting on themselves cheaper is very realizable.
Seems just like wasted money to include a dual shock 4 in the NEO packaging.
I want a little custom slider on a website that goes up in both tflops and dollars
not including a controller is not going to take much off the price
5.5 is a full RX 480. Could be possible.

It costs them like 15 dollars to make a DS4 and most people are trading in their PS4s (along with their DS4) to get a Neo.
