Isn't it 2h later than Apple?
YouTube has been pretty good with events like this, even the more popular things have held up really well over the past couple of years. I imagine I'll stream it on YouTube via the PS4.read the op.

The reasoning for 12GB is valid.
12 chips on the render means 12x1GB. There are no 2GB chips, and sure as hell MS will not use 512MB ones.![]()

Just subscribe to the press conferences game calendar and there is no more need to convert between time zones... https://www.splitmind.de/gamecalendar.htmlUK time
6pm Apple
8pm Sony
(I think!)
Yeah I can attest to YouTube over Twitch as working so much better. No drops, no stuttering, perfect quality throughout and at E3 was convenient for me.Yep. works better than twitch for me

Just to make sure i'm not looking in vain. If I don't use any calendar program, I have no way of checking the dates and times, right?

So if anyone is curious which stream to use I'd recommend YouTube too.

My understanding based on the Launch PS4, yield is ramped up with pre-production chips being made nearly a year (October 2015) before the release of the Console. Production models are then put together middle of 2016 and a stockpile created for when they are released. There must be some other reason for delaying final production Developer kits till the 7th. If they are to go on sale October 13th as speculated, there is not enough time for developers to test their games on final DEV kits. If this is the case then Sale of Slim and NEO should be about March 2017.Well apparently not if the final Dev kits aren't even released till the 7th, right?
Yeah, and also, a big one for me. DVR functionality. Missed a part? Rewind. Have to do something for 5 minutes? Pause and resume from where you left off even while the event is going on. Sure you'll be 5 minutes behind the livestream, but then that also gives you the opportunity to forward through parts you find uninteresting and catch up.Yeah I can attest to YouTube over Twitch as working so much better. There are already retail copies of the slim PS4 making the rounds. There's no way in hell the slim is eyeing a release six months from now when they're already out there! If this is the case then Sale of Slim and NEO should be about March 2017.
It seems to be a common bug that's popped up recently (I've seen more and more people mention it happening over the last few days). While I was initially posting using my PC, I just loaded up the thread on mobile, and my post you quoted is showing up in green for me.Off topic, but my quoted post isn't showing as green, that's weird. Is this a common bug on mobile? Or have they removed this feature?

You just subscribe with a compatible calendar app - I can't personally vouch for Android, but it *should* work. Dunno what "looks weird"...How do you use that? It looks weird on Android?

Read the article....in hindsight we must view what Ito says in the article differently.
The PS4 slim and NEO chipsets were set in stone at the time he says they are considering which models will support UHD Blu-ray.
Sony has not announced UHD blu-ray support in any PS4 console and the PS4 Slim box does not list features like Sony's Upscaling HD blu-ray players list. No list of supported codecs, CD, DLNA just a few IPTV Apps. I believe the above is the reason. No UHD blu-ray support but support for UHD streaming media is also a possible choice.
Even if they stick with the 4.2TF, their goal will be accomplished. Neo will still be substantially faster than base PS4. As for pushing more, that can be done with a simple overclock. They need to figure out how much their cooling setup can be strained.
Prediction time for me
PS4 Slim announced
Released now
$250/£220
500GB
4k HDR support for streaming services but no UHD Bluray support
You forgot Battlefield1, that will be shown in NEO mode for sure.
I don't think so. It has Xbox marketing, plus it's already been shown running on high-end PCs.You forgot Battlefield1, that will be shown in NEO mode for sure.
Whatever GPU they are using we already know they are reaching a minimum of 1800p which is a massive jump from where we are today.
YT is way more reliable globally (less stutter, can rewind) that it annoys me when these events don't have a YT stream, but only Twitch.
At least about 2.3 times fasterDo we have an idea of TFlops difference between PS4 and NEO?
ThxAt least about 2.3 times faster
