Y'all are acting like it... hyperbole... y'all are acting like this is a sign of some seriousness illness and not say a wee bit of exhaustion.

Coughing and now taking a rest and people are calling it the end of her campaign.

I think you are misunderstanding. The people expressing concern are doing so because we can see from a mile away exactly how the media, especially on the right, is going to frame this. This isn't our first rodeo. Talking endlessly about Hilary's health is going to get them more ratings and more clicks than having nuanced discussions about policy.

Most Americans want the election to be just another reality show, full of drama and excitement. They don't want to think about real issues that will effect their lives. That's why Trump does well. Everything has to be entertainment, and the media is thrilled to oblige. The concern is that this incident will become a distraction and give Trump just enough of an advantage among swing voters to pull off a win.

Is Hilary sick and dying? I doubt it! She was probably tired and maybe skipped breakfast and got woozy. It happens, and if you look at the facts, it's not concerning. But truth doesn't matter in a presidential campaign. The only thing that matters is how things appear, and how voters perceive reality. If the Trump campaign can spin this into something more than it is - and they will do everything they can to do just that, starting today - it could be a problem for Clinton.

I'd say you lack it because you are judging people outside of their historical context, which in the time of Andrew Jackson and others held that anyone without white skin was subhuman. Abraham Lincoln, arguably the greatest president, even held such views, though not to such an extreme degree. Presidents must be judged within their context, and I maintain that Bush was awful in his own.

Sorry for the derail. I think today hurts Clinton badly.
Because it's irrelevant. And I addressed this. You can not attempt to label him the "worst President in American history" while ignoring the actual fucking history of American Presidents. The White House has enjoyed murderers, slave owners and those who participated in the genocide of Native Americans. You are greatly trivializing the horrific acts of past Presidencies by trying to argue George W. Bush is anywhere near being America's most awful head of state.

It was a stupid remark and this is a silly discussion.

Why does so much of gaf think 80 degrees is pleasant? That's blisteringly warm. I live in a generally chill place. Like 60 to 70 at most on average and pretty much everyone around here can't stand 80 + degrees and 40% humidity.

A 4 point lead is easily swung by something like that video. I legitimately think Trump is going to win now. How have we come to this?

It's not heat exhaustion type weather. That's all.

Nope. I can and do criticize them all the time. And that video is pretty bad. They'll have to directly address things soon. I hope they know that clip is out in the wild.

Eh 80 isn't that bad. For older people yeah I could see it being an issue. But really 80s shouldn't be making you like that.

Come on. Do you actually think it's normal to faint in 80 degree weather?

I know this is suppose to prove me wrong, but that's a pitiful run. But I wasn't saying he wasn't unhealth per say, just pointing out how hypocritical a Bernie or Buster criticizing anyone for age or how a candidate looks.

Hillary being escorted away from a 9/11 ceremony due to a medical episode will not be dismissed as nonsense by most people. Come on.

I mean, she's already back, though, right? It will be dismissed by most. Like I said before, the alt-right will explode on it, the far right will harp on, but the soft leaning right, moderates and liberals will dismiss it.

This has been the hottest summer on record and it's been above 80 degrees in much of the country literally every day this summer.

There was nobody younger the Democrats could have pushed? Why were all the candidates old as dirt this election? The last two Democratic candidates to win were young, vibrant and cool. You think they would have remembered that.
