Trump is going to go Popovich game 1 for the debate isn't he?

This image would've worked until it was revealed that HIllary doesn't sweat:

Dude she's leaning against a post and literally falling down as they put her in the vehicle. Unless she had too much to drink, there's something wrong.

Yes, she was probably dehydrated and had a bit of a heat-stroke.

You don't need something like brain-cancer or an aneurysm for that to happen.

I just noticed they were leaning her against the pole.

Yes they were. Wow. It's clear they dragged her into the van, too.

A physician wrote a good piece for the Washington Post yesterday about our right to learn more about both nominees' health. He makes good points.

If elected, 70-year-old Donald Trump would be the oldest person ever to enter the Oval Office, while Hillary Clinton, 68, would be a close second, behind Ronald Reagan. At these ages, stuff begins to happen.

I once fainted after a doctor's appointment in a temperature controlled environment. Turns out I was a little dehydrated and had stood up too fast when leaving. It happens.

That said, this will be an issue for a couple of days on the campaign trail. Clinton or Trump will be among the oldest U.S. Presidents to take office when elected, and one of them just suffered a legitimate medical episode.

no, /pol/ noticed and you decided to relay that information to us

come on man, can you try and find a better source than hotlinking to /pol/? the link won't even be usable for very long

this is a thread about #optics, and the #optics of /pol/ are remarkably bad, to the point where a term was appropriated to describe them just so that the people adjacent to them can feel a little more imaginarily distant

yeah, and that something wrong is almost certainly "acute heatstroke caused by hypohidrosis"

But see, that extra information makes things plausible than just it was barely hot out yet she got heat stroke, because one could argue that would be unlikely for a normal healthy person.

She has an underlying condition that exacerbated what happened. It doesn't mean she is unfit in any way.

I'm gonna be super pedantic here...

It's far more likely it was simple heat syncope than full blown heatstroke.

Nod, which would I suppose be the correct term to what happened to me. Shit happens.

It isn't unlikely at all for a normal healthy person to faint due to heat, exhaustion, dehydration or various other things. Seen kids faint during a choir rehearsal a few times.

Who cares? Seriously, she could have every disease known to man, and I'd still not vote for Trump over her. I'll take my chances with the line of succession.

In fact, if she's on her deathbed that should be more of a reason for otehrs to vote for her. If they just don't like clinton, then great, you won't have her long.

Like a heat stroke maybe? Cause it has happened to me too. I'm 35 and have gotten too hot and passed clean the fuck out, it doesn't mean I have a medical condition.

Doubtful. Heat stroke can kill you and is treated in an emergency room, not an apartment. My hypothesis is that she's just regular sick and will be fine in a few weeks, but The Illusion is important to maintain in these goofy political campaigns.

i didn't say that.

I just want to be sure the leader of our country is fit for the job.

Having to leave a ceremony because she got too hot doesn't speak volumes for her in that regard.

Other than not visibly fainting, we have no idea if Trump is fit either.

Dream scenario - this leads to Biden stepping in...

One can hope, Jesus †

I think some of the Sanders people are hoping for the same thing but my concern would be that it would lead to a loss. How would the logistics of it even work? Funding? Staff? The media freaking out.

Dudes this one time when I was at a concert I started having a stomach flue and had to sit down otherwise I would have fallen over.

Hillary is obviously almost dying or something though.

Noted, I just fainted and was fine after coming inside and releaxing for a bit. What someone linked above would be a more accurate statement.

I would advise against wearing pant suits in 80+ degree temps, but if she must then at least wear cooler colors like creme, tan, or white. Black pant suits absorb and retain more heat, and in the video of her starting to faint she's wearing a black or navy pant suit.

Apparently, is hypohidrosis. Hillary literally doesn't sweat, which leads to an increase in possible heat strokes or hot-flashes:

She jokes in an interview to BuzzFeed from last year that the weirdest fact about her is that she doesn't sweat. She later jokes that it is because she's a robot.

Hillary doesn't need a medical condition to suddenly feel weak because of an hour and a half in the sun, but this is probably what the campaign will go with and will turn it into a fun fact.

EDIT: My aunt's former boyfriend had a similar condition. He literally sweated only on one side of his body, lol.
Huh that's pretty interesting. Makes sense then why she overheated.

donald trump is your man. he'll burn america to the ground, but by god he'll stand the entire time while doing it

this was at the memorial for 9/11. you know. an event where you wear darker color clothes.

I'm voting for Hilary..

Am I not allowed to be subjective?

For choir its likely because kids lock their knees, which you are not supposed to do. It can limit blood flow or something. Never happened to me but we were warned of it every time a concert rolled around.

Ah ok thanks for the clarification on my own thoughts and opinions.

They can be hard to parse sometimes.

You are basically saying that because she got overheated she is somehow potentially not fit for the job. You know how ridiculous that sounds?

Nod, just trying to show how people can faint from a plethora of reasons and it doesn't necessarily mean you have a serious medical condition.

In hindsight, the first few pages of people being in complete denial is odd and funny. What a strange election

I didn't agree with it, but I understood it.

The press is attached to candidates' hips during a campaign. Finding out that Clinton left the event without the press pool raised red flags. Learning the campaign kept the pool in the dark for more than an hour was another. Those are signs the campaign knew they had to get Clinton out of view, and fast.

Probably because every single incident like this brings Trump closer to presidency. He must be trying so hard to hide his joy right now, this is great for him.

I wasn't accusing anything, just answering a question.

That was more for Jack_package. I think he may have been confusing me with Clockwork5 (as they have posted in this thread too) but I haven't looked to see that user's history not to see if the comment was still warranted.

Anyway..I'm over it. Like I said the additional explanation of her not sweating makes sense.

See, this makes sense. Even if it's spin they should get in front of this and shut that shit down because I know right wingers are going to keep hammering her "health issues"
